The Red Cross idea was born in 1859, when Jean Henry Dunant, a young Swiss man came upon the scene of a bloody battle in Solferino, Italy, between the armies of Imperial Austria and the Franco Sardinian alliance.
The three principles of Youth Red Cross Society are following:
- Protection of health and life.
- Service to Sick and Suffering.
- Promotion of National and International friendship to develop the mental and moral capacities of the youth.
