Prayer

Ours being a Swami Dayanand institution, inculcation of moral values is our aim. Hence we have initiated the inception of morning assembly which besides Morning Prayer, makes the students imbibe moral values and learn norms of exemplary behaviour

Voter lD CIub

As per the directions of Election Commission our Voter ID Club is making frantic efforts to get Form 6 filled up by the students so that they can be issued Voter ID Cards. Last year about 2000 students filled up Form 6. Club regularly celebrates Voters Day on January 25th.

Legal Literacy Cell

Legal Literacy cell in compliance with mandate of legal services Authorities Act, 1987, has undertaken various measures for spreading legal literacy. To impart legal awareness amongst students regarding their rights and privileges granted by social welfare legislation, we have setup legal literacy club which holds essay - writing, slogan writing, postermaking, declamation and debate competition related to legal literacy programme.

Intach Club

Department of History has set up Indian National Trust for the preservation of Cultural Heritage at the college level under the able guidance of Mr. Anand Mehta-Vice President MDES. Through this Club the younger generation is made to understand the pristine glory of Indian heritage which is being relegated to the background with the passage of time.

GUIDANCE COUNSELLING AND PLACEMENT CELL

It provides effective guidance to the students regarding their future prospects and proper placement . It is hoped that the career counseling cell shall serve as the inter link between corporate world and the young students. The college representatives interact with various companies and invite them to organize seminars and explain opportunities to the students in various fields of employment. The cell has been organizing various lectures, seminars and workshops. The cell provides a bridge between the students and the corporate world by organizing "Job fair" and giving the students an opportunity to participate in Job fair organized by other institutions. Many of our students are placed by well established companies.

The Social Science Forum

Social science forum of Political Science, Sociology, History and Economics department organize several thought provoking and educative congregations for developing in depth knowledge of their respective students. They organize debates, group discussions, Seminar etc. All important National and International days are celebrated with fervor. Political Science Forum organized National Seminar on the topic th Parliamentary Government in India-Challenges And Panacea on 15 March 2016. Dr. D. Suresh-IAS Divisional Commissioner Gurgaon inaugurated the seminar. Dr.Ved Pratap Vedic a well known senior journalist, Dr.Himanshu Roy, Dr.S.P.Singh and Dr.krishan Murari renowned Professors from University of Delhi were the main resource persons. Ms. Garima Mittal-IAS Administrator HUDA, Faridabad chaired the valedictory function and presented certificates to the participants

Women Cell

Being a women's institution, women cell in our college has striven to awaken the girls by enlightening them regarding gender bias persisting in our Indian society till date. The Cell has endeavored to espouse the cause of women empowerment. However, it never preaches escalation of conflicts or fanning of bitterness after marriage.

Literary Societies

The college has a network of subject societies which provide a forum to the students to unfold their latent talent and serve as a platform for developing creative temper English, Hindi & Sanskrit, Literary Society organized various programmes to refurbish the knowledge of students. Essay-writing, Recitation, Paper reading, Quiz, Shalok Uccharan and many more educative competitions are regular, features of Literary Societies, Hindi Literary Society celebrates "Hindi Diwas" Sudents also participate and won prizes in Inter College Competitions.

Cultural

The aim of education is to convert the mind in to a living fountain and not a reservoir. Hence our college ensures that besides effective and proper imparting of subject knowledge students should evince keen interest in co-curricular activities. In the Zonal Youth Festival our college won several prizes.

Sports

Besides academics, it is also important to develop team spirit and sportsman ship among students, through participation in various sports events. Keeping this in mind, we encourage our students to participate in both outdoor and indoor games at University, district, state and national level. Our students have won laurels in games like yoga, basket ball, soft ball, cricket, baseball, taekwondo, carom, Archery, Athletics, Kabaddi etc.

Red Ribbon club

Red Ribbon club is the movement started by Government of India in schools n colleges to spread the awareness of HIV /AIDS..through students In our college Dr Madhu Singh and Ms. Benu Mehta are the coordinators of Red Ribbon club and carry out functions of this club.. We have 60 students under us who are the members.

YOUTH RED CROSS

The Red Cross idea was born in 1859, when Jean Henry Dunant, a young Swiss man came upon the scene of a bloody battle in Solferino, Italy, between the armies of Imperial Austria and the Franco Sardinian alliance. The three principles of Youth Red Cross Society are following: Protection of health and life, Service to Sick and Suffering, Promotion of National and International friendship to develop the mental and moral capacities of the youth.

NSS

The College has two actively functioning NSS units under the supervision of two program officers, working towards the noble cause of selfless service to the community. The volunteers enthusiastically participate in various activities. The activities are of two types- 3 Day Camp and one 7 Days Special day-night Camp. These activities majorly include awareness programmes for the environmental protection, blood donation etc.
