The guidance and career counseling cell of our college is a dedicated resource for helping students navigate their career paths. It provides guidance, support, and resources to assist students in making informed decisions about their future. The cell offers services such as career counseling sessions, workshops, and access to career-related information and resources. Its goal is to empower students to explore different career options, develop their skills, and make successful transitions from college to the professional world.
Training and placement cell in our college is a dedicated department that focuses on providing opportunities for students to secure internships and job placements. They work closely with various companies and organizations to organize recruitment drives, job fairs, and campus interviews. The placement cell also offers guidance and support in resume building, interview preparation, and career counseling. Their main goal is to connect students with potential employers and help them kickstart their professional careers.
Women Cell of the college is highly active towards engaging student members in activities that can help them to become self-dependent and confident. Women cell not only advocates women empowerment, but also believe in inculcating self-esteem in the students. All the activities organized by the cell with active participation of student members. This cell enthusiastically celebrates all women-oriented days such as Women’s Day, Girl Child Day, Mother’s Day, Breast Cancer Week etc. On these occasions, Cell invites experts from various fields as resource person. The experts deliver lectures related to Women Hygiene, Breast Cancer, Women Empowerment, Standout against Street Harassment, Women Entrepreneurship etc. In addition, Women Cell organizes inter and intra college competitions. Student members participate in each activity of the cell with full zeal and zest. Furthermore, this Cell also motivates its members to learn self-defence techniques. The cell looks after the welfare of its members and also facilitates redressal of their grievances.
Legal Literacy cell in compliance with mandate of legal services Authorities Act, 1987, has undertaken various measures for spreading legal literacy. To impart legal awareness amongst students regarding their rights and privileges granted by social welfare legislation, we have setup legal literacy club which holds essay – writing, slogan writing, postermaking, declamation and debate competition related to legal literacy programme.
As we live in an era of science and technology it is essential that the students have deep insight into the background of Science. Phytozootech club is an activity club for the students to develop their spirit and scientific attitude and it also provides limitless opportunities to explore scientific temperament for the social cause. It provides suitable platform to enhance the environmental awareness among the students. This will help them to understand how our actions affect the well being of our world. It also allows the students to work on their own innovative ideas hobbies and experiments etc.
Zerone Club is the club run by the Dept. of Computer science. The club explores both computer architecture and new application software. The mission of this club is to promote Computer programming, to provide students a platform where they gain knowledge about current trends in information technology, to help students in enhancing their presentation and organizational skills. The club motivates students to participate in all activities which make students aware about evolving technologies by organizing seminars, workshops and interdisciplinary activities.
The aim of this club is to get the students aware about the use of road. Road safety measures are very important to reduce the risk of people getting involved in road accidents and must be known to all. Students should aware about the traffic rules and security rules so that they can adopt a protective behaviour in later life. This club organises road safety week every year.
Sanskarshala is running to initiate and inculcate the moral values among the students through different activities such as story narration, Essay writing, Sanskrit Shlokas Recitation, Nukkad Natak. This club is active to communicate the valuable information about Indian culture and religion.
Kala Sangam Club is run under the Department of Home Science to inculcate creativity among students. This is a club where students from all programmes can participate to enhance their skills in various areas like food preservation, party makeup, floor decoration etc.
The catalyst club is run by the Department of Chemistry which aims at transforming the students into creative minds through innovative thinking. The club will help the students to get an insight into the practical application of the very basics of Chemistry and common concepts of Science in day to day life. It inculcates the spirit of confidence and leadership qualities in students which are still unexplored. The club through its various activities provides a platform to the students to showcase their inherent talent.
The college also has the spiritual club. The club helps students develop positivity, optimism and to have meaning and purpose in life. The club helps in giving direction in emitting the rays of wisdom. Spiritual club has been a wonderful channel for self-expression. This is the basis for our inner peace and harmony. Spiritual wellness reduces stress and brings improved health. The spiritual club organises sound healing sessions, meditation, various talks and competitions in realm of spirituality.
Unicorn Club is run by the Department of Commerce and Management .This club is an opportunity for students to learn managerial skills and practical exposure about management as a process . This club also organises Expert talks and the inter-college & intra-college competitions.
Mathskeeters club is powerful tool to remove mathematics phobia among students. This club paves the way for complete visualization and comprehension of mathematical concepts. It offers ideal avenues for free exchange of mathematical ideas. In this club students share different Vedic math’s tricks every week. This club provides opportunities for inter-college and intra-college competitions.
Aksharaalay Club has been established by the College Library. The purpose of the formation of the club is to create love for reading in students and enable them to become better, lifelong readers. Club believes that to be a good reader one needs to learn techniques of reading. All the activities organized by the club are coordinated by the student office bearers of the club. The club organizes workshops, expert sessions and educational visits to enhance reading skills of the students. In addition, the club organized Book Fair to bring students more close to the books.
Educate youth with correct, concise and adequate information and heighten their level of awareness about HIV/AIDS/STI/sexuality and other related issues .the Red Ribbon Club is a voluntary campus intervention program for students. Programmes organised by the club addresses the knowledge, attitude, and behaviour of youth in inter-related areas of voluntary blood donation, HIV & AIDS as demanded by their age, environment and life style.
Social Science forum of Political Science, Sociology, History and economics. Department organized several Activities and educative program for over all Development of the Student. They organize Debate, Group Discussion, Seminars, current topics. The forum organizes many activities at college level, intra college level, Inter College competitions. Social Science forum celebrates the important national days .
As per the directions of Election Commission our Voter ID Club is making frantic efforts to get Form 6 filled up by the students so that they can be issued Voter ID Cards. Last year about 2000 students filled up Form 6. Club regularly celebrates Voters Day on January 25th.
Department of History has set up Indian National Trust for the preservation of Cultural Heritage at the college level under the able guidance of Mr. Anand Mehta-Vice President MDES. Through this Club the younger generation is made to understand the pristine glory of Indian heritage which is being relegated to the background with the passage of time.
Cultural activities provide opportunities to express oneself, build confidence and develop social skills essential for over all development. They increase over consciousness of diverse cultures and demonstrate that there are multiple ways to live. These activities create innovative perspectives and methods for solving issues. Cultural events unite people promoting social cohesiveness togetherness social inclusion and community empowerment. It enhance the creativity of students beyond their academics and reduce the stress level.
