K. L. Mehta Dayanand College for Women, established in 1970, is a pioneer and one of the leading women’s educational institutions in Faridabad. The college is named after its founder, Sh. K. L. Mehta, a dedicated social activist and staunch Arya Samajist. The college is run by the Maharishi Dayanand Educational Society—a beacon of light for spreading education in Faridabad. The college has become a pride in the field of girls’ education.
The college promotes interdisciplinary higher education in the faculties of Arts, Science (B.Sc. Medical, Non-Medical, Home Science, and Biotechnology), and Commerce and Management. To match the aspirations of girl students, the college has introduced various courses viz. M.Com, MA (Economics), M.Sc. (Computer Science), MA (Political Science), M.Sc. (Chemistry), M.Sc. (Mathematics), BA, B.Com (Aided), B.Com (Self- finance), BBA and BCA. The college believes in a culture of quality and discipline and takes initiatives to inculcate the same among its students. The college emphasizes skill building and encourages its students to enhance their employability skills. The college runs various Add-On Courses, namely Fashion Designing, Early Child Care & Education, Accounting on Computer to provide a platform for the enrichment of students.
Within its sprawling 5.5 acre campus, the college has a lush green playground, Botanical Garden, Basketball Court, Volleyball Court, Cricket Pitch, Yoga and Judo Room, Common Room, Auditorium, Canteen, and Seminar Hall. The college library is a treasure of knowledge that provides valuable learning experiences to its students. The library has both physical and electronic resources for students’ access. There are 10 well-equipped Computer labs and 12 Smart classrooms. Besides, the college has 13 other labs namely Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, Biotechnology, Home Science, and English Language Lab .
Our students have always magnified our glory in academics, sports, and co-curricular activities. Every year, our students secure merit positions in the university merit list and bring laurels to the college by excelling in sports and co-curricular activities at the Zonal, Inter-Zonal, and National level.

The slogan of “Beti Bachao & Beti Padhao” was implemented 52 years back by the late founder President Sh. K.L. Mehta then carried forward by Late Dr. Vimal Mehta. The premier Institute has celebrated its Golden Jubilee this year in January 2020.

late Shri K.L. Mehta, a dedicated educator, and social reformer inspired by the
ideals of Swami Dayanand Saraswati, our college was established with the
mission of providing quality education to all, irrespective of social background.
His dream was carried forward by Dr. Vimal Mehta, an esteemed educationist,
who nurtured the institution into one of the premier women's colleges affiliated
to M.D. University, Rohtak.
Today, our college stands as a vibrant center of academic excellence,
innovation, and holistic development. We are committed to nurturing young
minds and empowering students to grow not only intellectually but also as
