Teachers Day Celebration

The *Department of Physical Science*, K.L. Mehta Dayanand College for Women, Faridabad organized an *Expert Talk* to mark the occasion of *Teacher’s Day on 5th September 2025* in the Physics Laboratory. The program commenced with the warm welcome of Principal ma’am, *Dr. Meenu Dua*, with a sapling, presented by *Dr. Beena Sethi* (HOD Science) along with other faculty members. Principal ma’am also delivered an inspiring speech, highlighting the invaluable role of teachers in shaping young minds and encouraging students to follow the path of discipline, dedication, and knowledge.The event was anchored by Ms. Anita, who conducted the program with great enthusiasm and ensured its smooth flow.This was followed by an insightful session by Dr. Beena Sethi, who emphasized the importance of teachers in building character and values. She explained the essence of the *first chapter of the Bhagavad Gita*, relating its teachings to real-life situations. She also introduced the college *alumni teachers* to the students, sharing their achievements and motivating the young learners to strive for excellence.Adding charm to the celebration, B.Sc. Physical Science students from 1st, 2nd, and 3rd year showcased their talents through *dance, songs, and a short play* dedicated to their teachers, which filled the atmosphere with joy and gratitude. The event saw enthusiastic participation from students and faculty members alike and concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks. The celebration left everyone inspired, creating a memorable blend of respect, joy, and learning.
