Theme : Independence Day
On 13th August 2024, the Kala Sangam Club of the Home Science Department organized a vibrant and creative Fevicryl workshop. The event, which centered around the theme of Independence Day, was led by the Fevicryl certified and talented resource person, Ms. Reena Malik. The workshop commenced with a warm welcome from Dr. Sangeeta Kulshrestha, who introduced and greeted the resource person. Around 32 students from various streams participated in the workshop, enthusiastically engaging in the hands-on experience of painting dupattas, t-shirts, and other items in the tricolour of the Indian flag. This initiative not only provided the participants with an opportunity to express their artistic skills but also instilled a sense of patriotism as they prepared for the upcoming national day celebration. The workshop was well-received, with students experimenting with various designs and techniques under Ms. Malik’s guidance, making it a memorable and creatively enriching experience for all involved. Principal Ma’am Dr. Manju Dua appreciated the efforts of the organizers and encouraged the students to engage fully in such creative activities.The workshop was skillfully coordinated by Ms. Archna Dua (HOD), Home science and Ms. Benu Mehta, who served as the co-convener. Additionally, the smooth execution of the event was ensured by the dedicated efforts of the faculty members of Home science department such as Ms. Priyanka, Ms.Jyoti and Ms. Sujata, who helped manage various aspects of the workshop.The success of the event was further bolstered by the contribution of student volunteers from the Kala Sangam Club, who played a crucial role in organizing and managing the event
