Day 01: 22nd June 2026
Day 1 – Hunar: Summer Skill Development Camp 2026
The Department of Home Science organized Day 1 of Hunar: Summer Skill Development Camp 2026 with the participation of around 30 students. Expert sessions were conducted by Ms. Meeta Rampal on Fevicryl Hobby Ideas and Lippan Art, Ms. Priyanka Adhana on Cut and Stitch, and Ms. Bhawna Sharma on Beauty Training and Saree Draping. The camp provided hands-on training in art, tailoring, and grooming, enhancing students’ practical skills, creativity, and entrepreneurial skills.


Day 2 – 23rd June 2026: The second day featured hands-on sessions on Basic Strokes, Jewellery Making with Mouldit Clay, and Body Measurements, providing students with creative and practical skills. The sessions, conducted by Ms. Meeta Rampal and Ms. Priyanka Adhana, witnessed enthusiastic participation and active engagement from the students.


Day 3 – 24th June 2026: The third day featured practical sessions on Facial Care and Coaster Making, conducted by Ms. Bhawna Sharma and Ms. Meeta Rampal. Students gained hands-on skills in beauty care and creative craft techniques, while developing artistic expression and exploring the entrepreneurial potential of handmade products.


Day 4 – 25th June 2026: The fourth day included practical sessions on Key Chain Making with Mouldit Clay, Embroidery Stitches, and Manicure, conducted by Ms. Meeta Rampal, Ms. Priyanka Adhana, and Ms. Bhawna Sharma. Students developed creative, textile, and personal grooming skills through hands-on activities, with enthusiastic participation throughout the day.



Day 05 (26th June, 2026): The fifth day of the Hunar Summer Skill Development Camp 2026 featured hands-on sessions on Bottle Painting & Lippan Art by Ms. Meeta Rampal, Embroidery Stitches by Ms. Priyanka Adhana, and Pedicure & Thread Work by Ms. Bhawna Sharma. Students developed creative, artistic and professional skills through practical demonstrations and supervised practice.



Day 6 – 27th June 2026: The sixth day featured hands-on workshops on Fabric Painting and Advanced Embroidery Stitches, conducted by Ms. Meeta Rampal and Ms. Priyanka Adhana. Students enhanced their creativity, textile decoration skills, precision, and craftsmanship through practical demonstrations and guided activities.



Day 7 – 30th June 2026: The seventh day featured hands-on sessions on Mirror Work on Fabric and Tie-Dye Effect using Fevicryl Fabric Paints, conducted by Ms. Benu Mehta and Ms. Meeta Rampal. Students developed creative textile skills through practical learning while exploring fabric embellishment, colour techniques, and opportunities for handmade product development.



Day 8 – 1st July 2026: The eighth day featured creative sessions on Vegetable Printing and Decoupage Art, conducted by Ms. Meeta Rampal. Students explored innovative craft techniques, completed previous projects with finishing touches, and enhanced their creativity, craftsmanship, and confidence through hands-on learning.



Concluding Day – 6th July 2026: The camp concluded with a vibrant exhibition of students’ handmade articles, curated by Ms. Meeta Rampal, followed by a Makeup and Grooming Workshop by Ms. Bhawna Sharma. The programme culminated in a Certificate Distribution Ceremony, where certificates were awarded to all 44 participants, celebrating their creativity, skill development, and enthusiastic participation.



The Summer Camp organized by the Department of Physical Education and Sports in collaboration with the Fitness Club commenced successfully on 20 June 2026 at K.L. Mehta Dayanand College for Women. A total of 40 students participated enthusiastically in the camp.
The Principal, Dr. Meenu Dua, addressed the students and emphasized the importance of yoga and sports in maintaining a healthy lifestyle. She encouraged students to participate actively in physical activities and explained how sports and yoga help in building physical strength, reducing stress, improving concentration, and promoting mental well-being. The camp was efficiently organized under the guidance of Dr. Sangeeta Adlakha, Sports Teacher and Camp Organizer. Through her dedicated efforts, planning, and coordination, the inaugural day of the camp was conducted smoothly and successfully
On the first day, students actively participated in Basketball, Volleyball, Yoga, and Archery. The yoga session focused on physical fitness, flexibility, and mental relaxation, while the basketball and volleyball sessions promoted teamwork, coordination, and sportsmanship. The archery activity helped students develop concentration, discipline, and precision.




The Department of Physical Education and Sports, in collaboration with the Fitness Club, celebrated International Yoga Day on 21 June 2026 at K.L. Mehta Dayanand College for Women, Faridabad.The programme commenced at 7:00 a.m. and concluded at 9:30 a.m. Students, faculty members, and distinguished guests enthusiastically participated in the yoga session.
The event witnessed active participation from Krida Bharti, Faridabad, Laghu Udyog Bharti, and the Indian Medical Association (IMA), who joined the celebration and promoted the message of health and wellness through yoga.The college was honored by the presence of Dr. Anand Mehta, Chairperson, MDES, who actively participated in the yoga programme and encouraged everyone to adopt yoga as a regular practice for a healthy lifestyle.
Addressing the gathering, Principal Dr. Meenu Dua emphasized the importance of yoga in maintaining physical fitness, mental well-being, and inner peace. She highlighted how yoga helps in reducing stress and improving overall health.Refreshments were provided to all the participants after the yoga session.
The celebration concluded with a vote of thanks and a renewed commitment by all participants to incorporate yoga into their daily lives for a healthier future.




The Department of Physical Education and Sports, K.L. Mehta Dayanand College for Women, successfully conducted the third day of its Summer Sports and Yoga Camp with enthusiastic participation from 35 students.
The activities of the day included Yoga, Taekwondo, and Basketball. During the Yoga session, Coach Arti Sahu guided the participants through various yoga practices and shared valuable tips on maintaining physical fitness, flexibility, and mental well-being through regular yoga practice.
The Taekwondo session was conducted by Coach Anil, who explained the basic rules and techniques of Taekwondo. He also provided practical exposure to the students, enabling them to learn fundamental skills and gain confidence in the sport.The camp continued to promote physical fitness, discipline, and sportsmanship among the participants. The students actively participated in all activities and showed great enthusiasm throughout the sessions.
Dr. Sangeeta Adlakkha, Head of the Department of Physical Education and Sports and Camp Coordinator, was present during the activities and encouraged the students to actively engage in sports and fitness-related activities for their overall development.




The fourth day of the Yoga and Sports Camp was successfully conducted at K.L. Mehta Dayanand College for Women by the Department of Physical Education and Sports in collaboration with the Fitness Club. A total of 45 students actively participated in the camp.
The day commenced with a yoga session led by Ms. Arti Sahu, who demonstrated various yoga postures and shared valuable tips and techniques to improve flexibility, concentration, and overall fitness. The students enthusiastically participated and benefited from the session.A Taekwondo training session was conducted by Mr. Anil, who introduced students to the basic rules, techniques, and self-defense skills of Taekwondo. The participants gained practical exposure and learned the importance of discipline and confidence through martial arts.
In addition, a Basketball session was also organized, where students actively participated and enhanced their skills through practice drills and team activities. The session promoted teamwork, coordination, and sportsmanship among the participants.The camp is being organized under the able guidance of Dr. Sangeeta Adlakkha, Head, Department of Physical Education and Sports. The students displayed great enthusiasm and dedication throughout the activities, making the fourth day of the camp a successful and enriching experience.
