
A Food Preservation Workshop was organized by the Department of Home Science on 03-04-2026 to provide practical training and enhance awareness regarding various food preservation techniques. The workshop focused on developing hands-on skills among participants through detailed demonstrations and active involvement.
During the workshop, participants were trained in the preparation of a variety of preserved food items, including Apple Jam, Schezwan Sauce, Amla ki Launji, Lemon Squash, and Chilli Pickle. Each preparation was demonstrated with emphasis on proper techniques, hygiene, ingredient proportions, and storage methods to ensure extended shelf life and quality maintenance.
The workshop proved to be highly informative and beneficial, equipping participants with essential knowledge and practical skills in food preservation.
