World Ozone Day Celebration held on 16th SEPTEMBER 2024 by the Department of Science

The Department of Science organized an online inter college competition to celebrate World Ozone day on 16th September, 2024. The theme of the competition was ‘Ozone layer protection: A global effort for a sustainable future’. The activities of the competition were collage making and slogan writing. Around 30 entries were received from various colleges in and around Faridabad. The results of both the activities are as follows

Slogan writing

1st position – Komal Dahiya(IGMM, Kaithal)

2nd position – Sapna Kadan(Govt. College for women, Faridabad)

3rd position – Kanika Sharma (KL Mehta Dayanand College for women Faridabad)

Consolation position – Ailish Tyagi(Dayal Singh college, Karnal) and Shivani(DAV College for Women Faridabad)

Collage making

1st position – Geeta (IGMM, Kaithal)

2nd position – Ravina (IGMM, Kaithal) and Priya(Govt. College for women Faridabad)

3rd position – Radha Prajapati (Govt. College for women Faridabad)

The judges for the events were Dr. Meenu Dua(HOD Science), Dr. Sangeeta Kulshrestha (Associate professor, Department of Home science) and Ms. Sujata( Assistant professor, Department of Home science). The whole event was successfully organised under the able guidance of Principal mam, Dr. Manju Dua and the convener of the event, Dr. Meenu Dua (HOD, Department of Science).
