The Red Ribbon Club organized an Orientation Programme and Awareness Lecture on HIV/AIDS on 21st August 2025

The Red Ribbon Club of K.L. Mehta Dayanand College for Women, Faridabad organized an Orientation Programme and Awareness Lecture on HIV/AIDS on 21st August 2025 at 1:00 P.M. in the Seminar Hall.
The programme was graced by the presence of Dr. Meenu Dua (Officiating Principal) . The session was coordinated under the guidance of Ms. Amita Dureja (IQAC Coordinator) and convened by Dr. Rina Prasad and Ms. Suman Lata Yadav.
The resource person for the lecture was Dr. Reeti Panchal ( Assistant Professor, Dept. Of Zoology) who delivered an insightful and informative talk on HIV/AIDS awareness, prevention, and the importance of spreading correct knowledge to eliminate myths and stigma associated with the disease.Special Attention was attracted through decorative tree with red ribbons and informative postures.The session highlighted the role of youth in spreading awareness and adopting safe practices for a healthier society.
The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation from students and faculty members. The interactive session provided a platform for students to raise questions and clarify their doubts regarding HIV/AIDS.
Overall, the event was highly beneficial in sensitizing students about one of the most pressing health concerns of society and successfully fulfilled the objective of the Red Ribbon Club in promoting awareness and responsibility among the youth.
