
A session on “Start-up: Opportunities through Accelerators/Incubation” was organized by K.L. Mehta Dayanand College for Women, Faridabad on 11th August 2025 at 9:30 AM in the Seminar Hall. The event was conducted in collaboration with IQAC and AICTE under the Institution’s Innovation Council initiative.
The resource person for the session was Prof. (Dr.) Pragati Chauhan, an Entrepreneurship Educator, Mentor, and Business Simulation Coach. Dr. Chauhan shared valuable insights on how accelerators and incubation programs can support start-up growth, provide mentorship, funding, and networking opportunities, and help entrepreneurs scale their ventures effectively.
The session was graced by Dr. Meenu Dua (Officiating Principal) as the Patron and head of the Department of Computer Science *Dr. Neha Jain*, who emphasized such knowledge-sharing sessions. and convened by Ms. Sandhya and Ms. Rupinder Kaur (Assistant Professors). Faculty members and students enthusiastically participated, gaining practical knowledge about the start-up ecosystem and the role of institutional support in fostering innovation.
The program proved highly informative and motivating, inspiring participants to explore entrepreneurial opportunities and leverage available resources for business development.
