The seminar begin with a keynote address by Dr. Beena Sethi discussed critical issues such as urban waste generation, plastic pollution, recycling, composting, and the role of public participation in waste management. Dr. Madhu Singh who highlighted the importance of sustainable development in ensuring a balance between economic growth and environmental protection.
Participants actively engaged in discussions and shared their ideas on promoting sustainability at individual and community level.
The event successfully increased awareness and encouraged responsible behavior towards the environment, contributing to the broader goal of sustainable development.levels.The seminar concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. Neha Jain and a pledge by all attendees to adopt eco-friendly practices in their daily lives.
Around 700 students actively attended the seminar along with teachers and experts.
