K.L. Mehta Dayanand College for Women, Faridabad, hosted its Freshers’ Day Celebration on September 6, 2025, in the college auditorium. The event was a formal welcome to the newly inducted students of the academic session 2025-26.
The ceremony commenced with the ceremonial lamp lighting by the esteemed Chief Guest, Mrs. Shubh Mehta, Director (Self Finance), accompanied by senior faculty members and judges of the event. Principal Dr. Meenu Dua extended a warm welcome to the Chief Guest and presented her with a sapling as a token of appreciation.
In her address, Mrs. Shubh Mehta encouraged the freshers to establish clear objectives, seek mentorship, and strive for excellence. Principal Dr. Meenu Dua emphasized the significance of diligence, discipline, and the integration of traditional values with modern perspectives. Her leadership and support played a key role in making the event a memorable experience for the new students.
The highlight of the event was the Ramp Walk Competition, comprising three rounds: Ramp Walk, Self-Introduction, and Talent Showcase. The winners were:

The competition was judged by Ms. Mehak Arora (Social Media Influencer, Alumni of the college), Dr. Vinita Sharma, Ms. Priyanka Adhana and Ms. Bhawna.
Dr. Mithilesh Aggarwal and Dr. Sudesh Kumari were the Overall Incharges of the event. Dr. Shweta Arya and Ms. Priyanka Pawar conducted the proceedings.
The cultural segment featured vibrant dance performances and a musical presentation by the Music Department. The selfie point was the main attraction capturing many memorable moments among students and faculty.
The winners were felicitated with sashes and gifts by the Chief Guest and Principal. The ceremony concluded with the National Anthem, fostering a sense of unity and patriotism.
