The Department of Computer Science organized an Session on the topic “Session on Achieving Problem Solving Fit”(Theme: Innovation and Entrepreneurship) on 29th Nov 2025 to guide students in validating their identified problems and aligning them with practical, user-oriented solutions. The resource person, Ms. Sonali Rajput, discussed the importance of understanding user needs, gathering feedback, and refining ideas through continuous iteration. Students were introduced to innovation frameworks and learned how to structure ideas into actionable solutions. A total of 70 students actively participated, contributing to discussions and sharing insights. The session enhanced students’ understanding of problem analysis, solution development, and innovation-driven thinking. Types of Cyber Attacks: She discussed various types of cyber-attacks, including phishing, malware, and ransom ware, highlighting their impact on individuals and organizations.

The Phytozootech Club of Department of Sciences of K. L. Mehta Dayanand College for Women, Faridabad organised an activity titled “The Hidden Heroes: Microbes at Work for Humanity” on 17 November 2025 . For the Activity students prepared various fermented foods and probiotic drinks like Fermented Ginger alle,Ginger lemon probiotic drinks,Kanji,Ragi ambali,Kimchi and Bio-enzymes showcasing the practical role of microbes in our daily life. The students worked in teams, demonstrated excellent coordination, and displayed great interest throughout the event. The activity helped them learn about the significance of beneficial microbes, develop scientific temper, and enhance teamwork, creativity, and communication skills. Overall, the activity was highly informative and engaging. It provided students with hands-on learning experience and deepened their understanding of the importance of microbes and how fermented foods are healthy for us. Dr. Anand Mehta, President MDES visited the club’s exhibition, appreciated the students’ efforts and performance, and encouraged them for their excellent work. The event was successfully conducted under the consistent support of our Principal, Dr. Meenu Dua, whose vision and encouragement play a vital role in promoting such academic and skill-enhancing activities in the college. Her motivation enabled the department to conduct this meaningful event for the students. The activity was enriched by the Head, Department of Science, Dr. Beena Sethi and Dr. Shveta Arya, who continuously support innovative learning practices and encourage active student participation in departmental programs. Their leadership helped in creating a positive learning environment for the activity. They guided the students throughout the activity and ensured its smooth and effective execution. This workshop aimed to introduce participants to the ancient Indian system of mathematics, its principles, and techniques. The workshop sought to enhance mental calculation skills, improve problem-solving abilities, and foster a deeper understanding of mathematical concepts. *Overview:* Under the guidance of Respected Principal, Dr. Meenu Dua, Mathskeeters Club has organized a One Day Workshop on Vedic Mathematics. Club Incharges & HOD of Science Department Dr. Beena Sethi welcomed the Resource person Ms. Vandana Kumari with a sapling as a token of gratitude. 50 Students attended the workshop with full enthusiasm for learning the basic tricks of mathematics that will help them in their real life calculations & competitive exams too. Worksheet Link was also shared with students to practice the tricks taught in workshop.Students expresssed a high level of satisfaction with the workshop content, facilitation, and organization.During whole workshop all faculty members of Mathematics Department were present .The Session was smoothly conducted by Dolly & Sakshi ( president & vice president of mathskeeters club). *Conclusion:* The Vedic Maths One-Day Workshop was a resounding success, providing a valuable learning experience for participants. Women Cell of K. L. Mehta Dayanand College for Women, Faridabad organised an enlightening seminar on ‘Financial Education ‘ for the members of Women Cell and students of Multi Disciplinary Course (Financial Literacy) aimed to create awareness among young students about the importance of financial literacy, savings and investment options and security planning. The session began with lamp lighting. The resource person for the session was Ms. Jyoti Kapoor (SEBI Smart Trainer). In her address, the resource person discussed various aspects of personal finance, including budgeting, banking habits, digital payments, mutual funds, insurance, and retirement planning(NPS), CIBIL score etc. She emphasized how basic financial knowledge can help students make informed financial decisions and avoid common money-related mistakes.The speaker also encouraged the students to start small savings habits early and take advantage of government schemes specially designed for youth and women. Principal Mam, Dr. Meenu Dua appreciated the efforts of Women Cell in organising such as educative program and motivated students to actively participate in financial learning activities. Mehta Dayanand College for Women, Faridabad, in collaboration with the Youth Red Cross (YRC), organized an Expert Talk on the Issues related to Mental Health. The session aimed to promote awareness about the importance of mental well-being and provide valuable insights into maintaining emotional balance in today’s fast-paced world. Ms. Sandeep Kaur Oberoi, a Certified Counselling Psychologist, Child Counsellor, and Family Therapist, served as the resource person for the event. She shared her professional expertise on various aspects of mental health, emphasizing stress management, emotional regulation, and the importance of seeking help without stigma. The interactive session encouraged students to engage in open discussions, reflect on their mental health, and adopt healthy coping strategies. ‘World Mental Health Day’ was observed on 10th October in our institution to spread awareness about the importance of mental wellbeing. The event was organised under the guidance of our respected Principal Dr.Meenu Dua. A special team of medical representatives (Ms Preeti Yadav) and (Ms Sumantra) from B.K Hospital was invited to interact with students and highlight the significance of maintaining good mental health in everyday life. The session focused on breaking the stigma around mental health issues and encouraging students to speak openly and seek help when needed. The Resource persons also shared practical tips for stress management and emotional well -being. To encourage student’s participations and creativity, a slogan making competition was organised on the theme Mental Health. Many students actively participate and express their thoughts through powerful and meaningful slogans.1st prize in slogan writing was given to Kulsum from B.Sc Biotech, 2nd was given to Payal Bhadana from B.A 2nd yr and 3rd was given to Chhavi from Bsc life Science 1st year. The event was conducted by the YRC Councellor Dr.Shveta Arya and Councelling & Mental Health Support Cell Members Dr. Mithlesh Aggarwal, Dr.Veena Pani(Nodal Officer), Dr.Neha Jain and Ms Kritika Vaid(Coordinator). Students enthusiastically participated in the Mental Health awareness rally carrying slogans that promoted positivity, self-care and emotional strength. The rally aimed to encourage open discussions about mental health and to remove the stigma surrounding it. YRC Councellors Dr. Shveta Arya and Dr. Babita Sharma were also present in the program. DISTRICT LEVEL ESAAY WRITING COMPETITION A HSCSIT-sponsored District Level Essay Writing Competition was held on 8th October 2025 at Pt. J.L.N. Government College, Faridabad. Around 200 students from B.A. Second Year enthusiastically participated in the seminar. The resource person for the event was Dr. Neha Jain, Head, Department of Computer Science. Dr. Neha Jain shared her insightful views on Artificial Intelligence and its importance in Web Designing. She further discussed various AI tools such as Chat GPT, and Google Gemini and their benefits, emphasizing how AI technologies are transforming the field of web development by enhancing creativity, functionality, and user engagement. More than 50 Students also created websites on the spot with her guidance, enriching the session and making students enthusiastic about web designing. The Department of Physical Science conducted an Essay Writing Competition on 4th October 2025 in the Physics Lab under the able guidance of Dr. Beena Sethi, Head of the Department of Science. The event aimed to encourage students to express their thoughts creatively and enhance their writing skills on scientific and contemporary topics. A total of 22 students from various streams enthusiastically participated in the competition, showcasing their talent, originality, and depth of knowledge. The competition was organized smoothly, with proper arrangements made for the participants. The essays will be evaluated by Judges – Ms. Anjali and Dr. Babita Sharma from Department of Humanity and the results will be declared on 6th October 2025. National Wildlife Week Celebration (2nd–8th October 2025) Theme: “Wildlife Conservation: Investing in People and Planet” The Department of Science, K.L. As part of the ongoing celebration, a Wildlife Documentary Screening was organized on 6th October 2025. The documentary titled “Chilika – Jewel of Odisha” depicted the natural splendor of Chilika Lake, India’s largest coastal lagoon and the world’s second-largest, highlighting its biodiversity, migratory bird populations, and endangered Irrawaddy dolphins. It also reflected on the lake’s role in supporting local communities and maintaining ecological balance. Students watched the film with enthusiasm and curiosity, gaining valuable insights into the interdependence of humans and nature. The week-long celebration concluded on 8th October 2025 with a Rally and a Wall of Pledge activity aimed at fostering awareness and responsibility towards wildlife conservation. Students and faculty members actively participated, carrying banners, placards, and slogans advocating wildlife protection. The Wall of Pledge served as a symbolic initiative where students signed their commitment to conserving nature and maintaining ecological balance. Throughout the week, Principal Dr. Meenu Dua played a pivotal role in motivating the students. In her addresses across various events, she emphasized the significance of wildlife conservation in maintaining ecological balance and ensuring a sustainable future. The ‘Counselling and Mental Health Support Cell’ of ‘K.L. Mehta Dayanand College for Women, Faridabad’ in collaboration with ‘B.K.Hospital(Civil Hospital), Faridabad’ organized an awareness session on 10th September 2025 to mark World Suicide Prevention Day and to promote Mental Wellness and Well-Being of Students. The session was facilitated by Ms. Sangeeta Natarajan, Life Skills Trainer and Motivational speaker. She highlighted the importance of overcoming self-limiting beliefs, nurturing a positive mindset, and developing self-confidence to achieve personal and academic goals. Through interactive discussions, she engaged students in reflective activities to understand their strengths and ways to cope with stress effectively. Furthermore, the session was graced by experts from the Mental Health Department, Civil Hospital Faridabad: Ms. Preeti Yadav, Clinical Psychologist, working in the field of suicide prevention and drug de- addiction treatment and Ms. Sumantra, Psychiatric Nursing Officer, specializing in mental health support and awareness. Both the resource persons shared valuable insights on early detection of mental health concerns, stress management, emotional well-being, and the importance of seeking timely professional help. They also highlighted the role of empathy, family support, and community awareness in preventing suicides.Dr. Meenu Dua Ma’am, Principal of the college, appreciated the efforts of the Counselling and Mental Health Support Cell in organizing such meaningful sessions. She emphasized that mental well- being is as important as academic excellence for the holistic development of students. National Nutrition Week Celebration Date: 7/9/2025 The Department of Home Science of K.L. Mehta Dayanand College for Women, Faridabad, in collaboration with the Inner Wheel Club of Faridabad Central, organized the celebration of National Nutrition Week with great enthusiasm and zeal. The event commenced with the Lamp Lighting Ceremony, signifying the victory of knowledge over ignorance. District Level Science Quiz Competition A District Level Science Quiz Competition was organized on 2nd September 2025 at Pt. J.L.N. Government P.G. College, Faridabad. The Women Cell of K. L. Mehta Dayanand College for Women, Faridabad organised an expert talk on the topic ‘PCOD & PCOS’ on 29th August, 2025 with the objective of spreading awareness among young girls about Polycystic Ovary Disease (PCOD) and Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS).
The event was graced with the presence of Principal Mam Dr. Meenu Dua and convened by Ms. Madhu Saitya (Convener), Dr. Babita Singh and Ms. Komal Malhotra (Co-conveners). The programme was co-ordinated by the office bearers of Women Cell.The resource person for the session was Dr. Mansi Kumar, Associate Professor and Senior Gynecologist from Amrita Hospital. She delivered an informative and engaging session on PCOD and PCOS, covering its causes, signs and symptoms, diagnosis, and management of these common yet often neglected issues. Dr. Mansi explained the difference between PCOD and PCOS in a simple manner, and emphasized that early diagnosis and lifestyle modification play a crucial role in managing these conditions. She also highlighted the long term health implications of these issues if left untreated. The session was highly interactive.

Awareness Program on Traffic Guidelines As per the orders of Hon’ble Director General of Police, Haryana and under the guidance of Police Commissioner Faridabad and Deputy Commissioner of Police Traffic, Road Safety Club of K.L.Mehta Dayanand College for Women, Faridabad in collaboration with Community Policing Cell organised an awareness program on “Traffic Guidelines” on 29th August 2025 at 1:00pm in auditorium aimed to create awareness among students regarding the use of traffic rules and guidelines. Ms. Sunita (Police Inspector), Mr. Manoj Kumar (Chowki incharge) explained to the students about traffic rules such as following signals, wearing seatbelts, obeying speed limits, and using zebra crossings are essential for road safety and prevention of accidents. Key rules include always stopping at a red light, driving on the left side of the road, maintaining a safe distance from other vehicles. To make the event successful, the efforts and cooperation of the Principal Mam Dr. Meenu Dua was highly commendable. An awareness programme has been organised at K.L. Mehta College NIT. The motive of this programme is to aware the students about bad effects of drugs and fight against the drugs. Ms. Aggarwal shared valuable insights on the fundamental steps of establishing a startup, including idea generation, business model development, financial planning, risk management, and the importance of innovation in today’s competitive world. She emphasized the significance of perseverance, networking, and adaptability in entrepreneurial journeys. ONE-DAY WORKSHOP ON SAP A one-day workshop on SAP (System Applications and Products in Data Processing) was organized by the Department of Commerce and Management at K.L. Mehta Dayanand College for Women, Faridabad under the guidance of the Principal Ma’am, Dr. Meenu Dua and IQAC Coordinator, Ms. Amita Dureja on 23rd August 2025. The workshop was convened by Dr. Rekha Goel(HOD, Dept. of Commerce and Management) and Dr. Sudesh Kumari. The session was delivered by Mr. Sandeep Arora, a certified SAP consultant. At the outset, Mr. Sandeep Arora announced free Excel classes for final-year students of Commerce and Management in the college premises, which was highly appreciated. He also guided students on how to use MS Excel efficiently without a mouse, making them aware of time-saving shortcuts. The workshop aimed to familiarize students with the significance of SAP in data processing and its wide applications in the business world. Mr. Arora shared practical insights into ERP systems and emphasized their role in enhancing career prospects. On this occasion, Dr. Meenu Dua presented a sapling to Mr. Sandeep Arora and Ms. Abhilasha Ma’am. The Red Ribbon Club of K.L. Mehta Dayanand College for Women, Faridabad organized an Orientation Programme and Awareness Lecture on HIV/AIDS on 21st August 2025 at 1:00 P.M. in the Seminar Hall. The programme was graced by the presence of Dr. Meenu Dua (Officiating Principal) . The session was coordinated under the guidance of Ms. Amita Dureja (IQAC Coordinator) and convened by Dr. Rina Prasad and Ms. Suman Lata Yadav. The resource person for the lecture was Dr. Reeti Panchal ( Assistant Professor, Dept. Of Zoology) who delivered an insightful and informative talk on HIV/AIDS awareness, prevention, and the importance of spreading correct knowledge to eliminate myths and stigma associated with the disease.Special Attention was attracted through decorative tree with red ribbons and informative postures.The session highlighted the role of youth in spreading awareness and adopting safe practices for a healthier society. The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation from students and faculty members. The interactive session provided a platform for students to raise questions and clarify their doubts regarding HIV/AIDS. “सृजन”: 7 Day Workshop on Art in Everyday Life The Kala Sangam Club of Department of Home Science organized a 7-day workshop *”सृजन”*in collaboration with fevicryl hobby ideas from 21-08-2025 to 28-08-2025, which aimed to provide a platform for students to explore their creative side and learn various art forms. The workshop was inaugurated by Dr. Anand Mehta, President MDES. Dr. Meenu Dua mam , our worthy Principal presented a sapling to Dr. Anand Mehta.Ms. Archna Dua ,senior faculty of the department welcomed Sir for gracing the occasion by his esteemed presence and she also greeted Ms. Meeta Rampal. Dr. Sangeeta kulshrestha honoured Ms.Meeta with the Plant. The workshop began with a demonstration by renowned Fevicryl artist Ms. Meeta Rampal, who introduced students to the traditional art forms of Lippan, Worli, and Mandala.
Day 1: Lippan Art Students learned the intricate details of Lippan art, which involves creating designs using clay and mirrors. Day 2: Worli Art Ms. Rampal demonstrated the ancient Indian art of Worli, which uses geometric patterns to depict everyday life. Day 3: Mandala Art Students were introduced to the meditative art of Mandala, which involves creating intricate patterns using shapes and lines. Day 4: Paper Flower Making Dr. Pragati Chitkara taught students the art of paper flower making. Students learned how to create beautiful flowers using Duplex paper, stockings and other materials, which can be used for decoration or gifting. Day 5: Tie and Dye and Block Printing Ms. Benu Mehta introduced students to the traditional art of Tie and Dye, where students learned how to create unique patterns on fabric using dye and resist techniques. Additionally, She taught students the art of block printing on fabric using wooden blocks, which allows them to create beautiful designs and patterns. Day 6: Candle Making Ms. Sujata demonstrating the art of candle making. Students learned how to create gel and wax candles using different techniques and materials. Day 7: Exhibition An exhibition was organized by the students on the last day, showcasing the work done by the participants in the workshop. The 7-day workshop “सृजन” was a resounding success, providing students with a platform to explore their creativity and learn new art forms. The workshop not only honed the students’ artistic skills but also provided them with a unique opportunity to interact with the artists, learn from them and deepened their appreciation for India’s rich cultural heritage. The workshop saw enthusiastic participation from 40 students of BSc Home Science and BA programs. As they mastered various techniques of art, the participants were immersed in an enriching experience that blended tradition with creativity. Dr. Anand Mehta , appreciated the Exhibition put up by the students in which the diverse range of artwork was on display. He advised the students to use this skill as a platform for innovation, experimentation and entrepreneurship. The certificates were given to all the participants by Fevicryl Hobby Ideas and prizes were announced for the best in different art categories. Principal Dr. Meenu Dua Ma’am’s unwavering support and encouragement were instrumental in the workshop’s success. The Faculty members from the Home Science Department were present throughout, offering guidance and support to ensure a holistic learning experience. The IPR Cell of K.L. Mehta Dayanand college for Women Faridabad organised a one day seminar on the topic, Practical aspect of Intellectual Property Rights on 13th August 2025. The resource person for the seminar was Ms. CS Renu Kathuria, a certified PoSH trainer and a distinguished fellow member of ICSI(Institute of Company Secretaries of India). The event started with the auspicious lamp lightening ceremony done by our Principal mam, Dr. Meenu Dua and other members of the IPR Cell , Convener Dr. Madhu Rathi & Dr. Purnima Verma and Co-Convener Ms. Leena Bhatia along with the Organisers. This was followed by presenting a sapling to Principal mam and to the resource person as a token of welcome and gratitude. Ms. Renu explained in detail about the various Indian laws dealing with IPR and various parameters of IPR. She discussed the difference between copyright, trademark and patent with the students & perform a practical knowledge to fill trademark and copyright. The session turned out to be an interesting one as there was an appreciable interaction from the students as well. Ms. Renu went on with describing the parenting procedure and how to register for copyright. The students also asked for an online show of procedure for filing a trademark which provided clarity to the students. The session was attended by around 150 students. The seminar ended with a formal vote of thanks to Ms. Renu kathuria.
Report on Orientation Day The one day NEP seminar for the first-year students was conducted by Department of Commerce on 13th August 2025 in their respective classes. The event aimed to familiarize new students with the academic environment, facilities, rules, and support systems of the institution. It also provided a platform to address student queries and concerns, ensuring a smooth transition into college life. The event introduced students to institution’s vision, mission, and culture. Further Dr. Sangeeta Kulshrestha, Head of Home Science Department highlighted the importance of preserving traditional weaving arts and supporting the handloom sector which plays a vital role in India’s economy. Ms. Archna Dua, Senior faculty member, also praised the exhibition and the efforts of the B.Sc.(Home Science) final year students. The exhibition was highly appreciated by other departmental faculty members, students and visitors. The program aimed to raise awareness about the importance of breastfeeding for the health and well-being of both infants and mothers. The theme of this year’s breastfeeding week celebration was *”Prioritize Breastfeeding: Create a Sustainable Support System”*, aligning with the global efforts to promote breastfeeding-friendly environments at workplaces and institutions. The event began by the valuable and knowledgeable words of Dr.Sangeeta Kulshrestha, Head of Home Science Department who emphasized the vital role of breastfeeding in reducing infant mortality and promoting lifelong health. This was followed by an informative session conducted by Ms.Benu Mehta who shared valuable insights on the benefits of exclusive breastfeeding, challenges faced by working mothers, and ways to support them through policy and social change.Nearly 100 students from various dept were present in the lecture. As part of the celebration, a Slogan Writing Competition was held on the theme of breastfeeding. Students from various departments participated and 102 participants enthusiastically, showcased their creativity and awareness.The competition was judged by Dr.Veenapani and Dr.Vinita Verma. The winners were awarded certificates as token of appreciation. A Youth Wellness Campaign was successfully conducted in collaboration with Whisper India, under the Guidance and Career Counselling Cell and the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), supported by AICTE. The primary aim of the campaign was to raise awareness about personal hygiene and wellness among young female students and to encourage healthy lifestyle practices. Venue: K. L. Mehta Dayanand College, Faridabad P.G.Wing Date: 06/08/2025 Highlights of the Event:The session began with a warm welcome by Dr. Meenu Dua, Patron of the program, who greeted the organizing team and highlighted the importance of such wellness initiatives for students’ overall development. The session conducted by Whisper India focused on educating students about menstrual hygiene, self-care routines, and breaking the stigma around women’s health issues. Through engaging audio-visual content, the trainers sensitively addressed common misconceptions and provid ed practical health tips. The organizers also distributed gift hampers containing hygiene products to all participants, generously provided by Whisper India as part of their social responsibility initiative. Conclusion: The Youth Wellness Campaign by Whisper India proved to be a meaningful initiative in enhancing awareness around personal hygiene and well-being among students. The enthusiastic response from the attendees reflected their keen interest in understanding and active participation. Key Highlights of the Session Dr. Beena sethi delivered an interesting and valuable knowledge in short period of time her valueable word play an important role in every student life. In this session Ma’am gave the practical examples so that students can understand the need of National Education Policy 2020. The session was highly interactive, with students engaging in a dynamic Q&A segment where Dr. Beena Sethi Ma’am addressed queries regarding ‘National Education Policy (NEP)2020’. Encouragement & Support: The seminar was graced by the presence of Principal Dr. Manju Dua and Head of the Department of Computer Science Dr. Neha Jain, who emphasized the importance of such knowledge-sharing sessions. Organized on the Occasion of World Red Cross Day on 8th May 2025 The Youth Red Cross Society of K.L. Mehta Dayanand College for Women, Faridabad, organized a One-Day Camp on First Aid Training and Disaster Management in collaboration with the Indian Red Cross Society , Faridabad, to mark World Red Cross Day on 8th May 2025. The Chief Guest for the event was Mr. Purushottam Saini, Deputy Superintendent, Indian Red Cross Society, Faridabad The program commenced with the ceremonial lamp lighting by Principal Dr. Manju Dua, Mr. Purushottam Saini, Dr. Meenu Dua (Head, Science Department), and other dignitaries from the Indian Red Cross Society. Dr. Manju Dua warmly welcomed the Chief Guest with a bouquet and presented a memento as a token of gratitude. The primary aim of the camp was to spread awareness about First Aid and Disaster Management. Participants received hands-on training in basic first aid techniques and learned practical approaches to disaster preparedness and emergency response. Mr. Himanshu Bhatt, Lay Lecturer, First Aid, Indian Red Cross Society, Faridabad, conducted the main training session. He demonstrated CPR techniques to be used on casualties during emergencies and explained various other first aid procedures, including how to handle bleeding, fractures, and shock. His session was highly informative and interactive, allowing students to learn through practical demonstrations. Mr. Darshan Bhatia, Lay Lecturer, First Aid, Indian Red Cross Society delivered an inspiring speech, emphasizing the importance of being prepared and willing to help others during emergencies. Chief Guest Mr. Purushottam Saini addressed the gathering, urging students to stay rooted in cultural values, respect elders, and always be ready to help others in need. A special video message from the Governor of Haryana was also played on the occasion. Principal Dr. Manju Dua appreciated the initiative and highlighted the growing importance of first aid knowledge, encouraging all students to equip themselves with these essential life-saving skills. The camp was successfully organized under the guidance of Dr. Shveta Arya and Dr. Babita Sharma, YRC Counsellors. A total of 75 students actively participated in the training session.

The Department of Science and Home Science organized a graceful Farewell Party and Prize Distribution Ceremony on May 2, 2025, in the college auditorium at 10 AM, to bid farewell to the outgoing students of M.Sc. (Mathematics and Chemistry) and B.Sc. (Home Science, Life Sciences, and Physical Sciences). The celebration was a delightful blend of emotion, energy, and enthusiasm. Dr. Anand Mehta, President , MDES, graced the occasion as Chief Guest. In his inspiring speech, he encouraged the students to follow their passions, serve society with integrity, and embrace the future with courage and positivity. He also presented prizes to the meritorious students from all semesters of the Department of Science and Home Science, acknowledging their academic achievements. The Catalyst Club of K.L Mehta Dayanand College for Women organised a one day seminar on the topic, ‘Unleash your potential for tomorrow’ on 22nd April 2025. The resource person for the event was Mr. Abhinav Sharma, CEO, Galaxy Interior Dzine, Rewari. The event began with the lamp lighting ceremony by the principal, Dr. Manju Dua mam, Dr. Meenu Dua mam (HOD Science), Dr. Beena Sethi mam (Incharge, Catalyst Club) and other club members. Mr Abhinav Sharma was also presented with a sapling as a token of welcome and gratitude. An eminent entrepreneur and a dynamic personality with an enriched educational background from IIM, Calcutta, Mr Sharma talked about sensitive yet crucial parameters like personality development, entrepreneurship and the growing role of AI and its comparison with natural intelligence. He focused on how to work upon your confidence and groom your personality through simple tips like setting goals on a small basis rather than thinking of year long goals. He also explained how one can explore the entrepreneur in him/her by following healthy habits like reading lots of motivational books and spending lesser. time on social media. A large number of students from all programs attended the event and appreciated the content shared. Dr. Beena Sethi mam(Convener, Catalyst Club)presented a formal vote of thanks to Mr Abhinav Sharma by appreciating his efforts and sparing his valuable time. She also thanked the organizing team for making the event a success.
The Environmental Management System (EMS) Club of K.L. Mehta Dayanand College for Women Faridabad, in association with IQAC celebrated Earth Day on 21st April 2025. It was a three day celebration (21st-23rd April 2025). The members of the EMS Club along with college students were taken to the waste management area. They were shown the various coloured trash bins kept there in which green waste and plastic waste is disposed off. The canteen waste is separated into wet waste and dry waste and disposed of accordingly. Also the dry waste from trees (leaves) are all collected and dumped into the compost pit where they get converted to organic manure. This organic manure is then used in the college itself for planting trees. The students were also advised to follow this practice at their homes by keeping an earthen pot in their house and periodically keeping the green waste from their kitchens in it thereby generating the organic manure. The event was organised to make students aware about the importance of segregation of waste and how it can be reused so as to reduce environment pollution.
On day 2, an energy-saving activity was organised involving enthusiastic participation from students and faculty members. As part of the initiative, awareness stickers were pasted, and switchboards in classrooms, laboratories, staff rooms, and other areas of the college campus were clearly marked with fans and lights to promote the message of electricity conservation. This practical step aimed to instil a sense of responsibility and mindfulness among campus users towards sustainable energy usage.
For day 3, a slogan writing competition was held to celebrate Earth Day, focusing on themes such as conservation, sustainability and environmental protection. Students actively participated, showcasing their creativity and passion for environmental conservation. The slogans emphasized the need to protect the Earth and its resources for future generations. The Youth Red Cross Society of K.L. Mehta Dayanand College for Women, Faridabad, organized an expert lecture on the occasion of World Health Day on 7th April 2025. The theme of the session was “Healthy Beginnings, Hopeful Futures.” The lecture aimed to spread awareness about the importance of maintaining good health through proper diet and lifestyle.
The resource person for the session was Ms. Priyanka Pawar, Clinical Dietician and Assistant Professor in the Department of Home Science at the college. She enlightened the students on the importance of consuming a healthy and balanced diet. She emphasized the intake of living foods such as fresh seasonal fruits and vegetables which are rich in antioxidants. These antioxidants increase the oxygen content in the body and contribute significantly to overall health. Ms. Pawar also advised the students to consume whole grains, cereals, and foods that provide a balance of proteins, carbohydrates, and fats. She stressed the need to avoid junk food and packaged items, advocating instead for nutrient-rich meals that support long-term fitness and well-being. Ms. Priyanka Pawar also highlighted the strong connection between diet and mental health, stating that the food we consume not only affects our physical well-being but also plays a crucial role in maintaining mental and emotional balance. A healthy, nutrient-rich diet can help reduce stress, improve mood, and enhance overall cognitive function.
Principal Dr. Manju Dua graced the occasion and encouraged the students to prioritize their health by consuming nutritious food and engaging in regular physical activities. She also presented a letter of appreciation to Ms. Priyanka Pawar and acknowledged the dedicated efforts of the Youth Red Cross Society.

Report on Vermicomposting Activity Organized by Phytozootech Club

The Phytozootech Club of K. L. Mehta Dayanand College for Women, Faridabad, successfully organized a vermicomposting activity on 2nd April , 2025 in the Botanical Garden of the college campus. This initiative aimed to promote sustainable waste management practices and highlight the benefits of organic composting using earthworms. The setup for vermicomposting was established three months ago with regular monitoring of parameters such as moisture, temperature, and feedstock composition. The process involved the use of biodegradable kitchen waste and garden litter, which was efficiently converted into nutrient-rich vermicompost with the help of earthworms.
After consistent efforts over the last three months, a good quantity of vermicompost was successfully harvested. The compost is currently being applied to various plants in the Botanical Garden as an organic fertilizer to assess its effects on plant growth and health. The team is now observing the impact of vermicompost on the plants and the results are awaited.
The event was graced by the presence of the college Principal, Dr. Manju Dua, who encouraged and motivated the students to engage in environmental sustainability practices. The activity was conducted under the able guidance of Dr. Meenu Dua (Head, Department of Science) and Dr. Shveta Arya, who provided continuous support and motivation throughout the process. Dr. Meenu Dua addressed the students, emphasizing how vermicomposting practices can be further developed for better results in the future.
The Phytozootech Club’s President, Geetanjali Shukla (B.Sc. 3rd year), and Vice President, Divya Bansal (B.Sc. Biotech 3rd year), along with 50 other club members, actively participated, showcasing strong teamwork and dedication. The club incharges, Dr. Mamta Singh and Dr. Priti, played crucial roles in ensuring the smooth execution of the activity.
Overall, the event was a great success and served as an excellent learning experience for the students. It not only highlighted the significance of sustainable waste management practices but also fostered teamwork and collaboration among the participants.
The Department of Commerce and Management of K. L. Mehta Dayanand College for Women, Faridabad organized a “One Day Workshop on SAP- System Applications and Products in Data Processing” on March 20, 2025. Convener of the event was Dr. Rekha Goel (HOD, Commerce and Management Department) and Dr. Sudesh Kumari and hosted by Dr Monika Singla and Ms. Nalnee. The resource person was Mr. Sandeep Arora. He is a corporate SAP trainer and played pioneering role in introducing and promoting SAP. The primary objective of this workshop was to empower students with the necessary skills and knowledge of SAP. Students gained valuable skills, knowledge, and experience that can benefit their future careers.
The workshop covered a range of topics, including SAP Data sphere, SAP Analytics, and SAP Business Processes. Overall, this workshop was an excellent opportunity for students to gain the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed in today’s fast-paced technological landscape. Session concluded with vote of thanks.
In an exciting and delicious twist, students hosted a highly successful Food Bonanza, bringing together students, faculty, and local food lovers for a day of culinary exploration and fun. The event featured a wide variety of food stalls such as mouth watering Vegetable Kababs, Pav Bhaji, Sautéed Idli, Dhokla, Panipuri, Litti Chokha, Sweet Corn Chaat, Bhelpuri , Matar Kulcha, Farre and some refreshing beverages namely as Mojito, Thandai,Chaas showcasing an impressive array of flavors from traditional dishes to experimental fusion cuisines , all crafted by the students themselves.
The Food Bonanza was inaugurated by Mrs.Shubh Mehta ( Director, Self Finance) and organized as part of a student initiative aimed at fostering creativity, teamwork, and entrepreneurial spirit. The stalls offered an assortment of treats, including regional delicacies, vegan and vegetarian options, street foods and homemade desserts, making it an all-inclusive experience for attendees.
The Food Bonanza was not only a celebration of food but also an opportunity for everyone to come together and showcase their passion for cooking and community engagement.
The event was also a great success in terms of promoting Students from different departments working together to organize and run the stalls, making it a truly inclusive event. कार्यक्रम के रूप में कहानी प्रतियोगिता का आयोजन किया गया। कहानी का शीर्षक – देश, समाज, संस्कृति , युवा में सामाजिक चुनौतियों का अनुभव रखा गया। कहानी में शब्दों की सीमा – ४००- ५०० तक रखी गई। कहानी का स्वरचित होना अनिवार्य माना गया। प्रतियोगिता में अनेक छात्राओं ने उत्साहपूर्वक भाग लिया एवं अपने विचारों के माध्यम से अलग- अलग शीर्षक में कहानी प्रस्तुत की।

K. L. Mehta Dayanand Women’s College, Faridabad organized a ‘Story Writing’ competition on 10/1/2025 to celebrate World Hindi Day. Mrs. Seema Kushwaha highlighted the importance of World Hindi Day. As part of the program, a story competition was held. The theme of the story was ‘Experiencing Social Challenges in Country, Society, Culture, and Youth.’ Many students enthusiastically participated in the competition and presented stories on different themes through their thoughts. Dr. Mithilesh Agarwal and Dr. Veena Pani played a significant role as judges. The distribution of certificates was conducted by Principal Manju Dua, Dr. Mithilesh Agarwal, and Dr. Veena Pani.
The Mathskeeters Club of K.L. Mehta Dayanand College for Women, Faridabad, celebrated National Mathematics Day on 22nd December 2024 by organizing a state-level online competition of Poster Making. The theme for the event was “Mathematics in Everyday Life.”
The competition recognized the creative talents of participants with the following winners in the Poster Making category:
Department of Computer Science, under the aegis of Zerone Digital Club organised “IT Hardware Workshop” on October 8th, 2022 in Seminar Hall. There were 150 students of BCA, MSc. (Computer Science), BCom. (CA) in total who participated in this Workshop. College Administrative Staff and teachers also got benefitted from this. Mr. Laxman Tanwar was the Resource Person of the Workshop. Everyone participated with great zeal and enthusiasm.Students asked their queries regarding better care of the hardware of their PC and laptop. Students said they would love to have more workshops like this in future. Dr. Neha Jain, Head of Department of Computer Science, motivated all to be an active participant and also congratulated Ms. Poonam(Convener) and Ms. Ekta (Co-Convener) for their great efforts in organising this technical Workshop.
The Photoshop workshop was conducted by DoCS in collaboration with Creative Animation Techniques successfully. The primary objective of the workshop was to provide hands-on training in Photoshop, focusing on essential tools and techniques for photo editing and graphic design. The workshop began with an introduction to the interface of Photoshop, where participants learned about the various panels, tools, and shortcuts. The Resource person Mr. Tilak, emphasized the importance of layers and how to effectively use them for non-destructive editing. Participants were guided through several practical exercises, including:
1. Basic photo retouching: Participants learned how to use the healing brush and clone stamp tools to enhance images.
2. Color correction: Techniques for adjusting brightness, contrast, and color balance were demonstrated, allowing participants to bring their photos to life.
3. Text and Typography: The workshop covered how to add and style text, exploring different fonts and effects.
Feedback from participants was overwhelmingly positive, with many expressing appreciation for the hands-on approach and the opportunity to ask questions. The workshopconcluded with a Q&A session, allowing participants to clarify doubts and share their experiences.
Principal, Dr. Manju Dua Ma’am encouraged the students to showcase their talents in every field. Head (Department of Computer Science) Dr. Neha Jain motivates the students to attend more and more seminars and workshops to enhance their inner abilities .Overall, the workshop was a great success, fostering creativity and skill development among the attendees. Future workshops are planned to delve deeper into advanced techniques and specific projects.

Introduction
Recognizing the ever-growing importance of Digital skills in today’s world, K.L. Mehta Dayanand College for Women, Faridabad organised a two-day workshop on Digital Content Creation, in Collaboration with Arena Animation on [5-6November, 2024]. This workshop aimed to equip the students with foundational and advanced skills in Digital Content Creation. The event was held under the esteemed guidance of our Principal, Dr. Manju Dua, and Head of Department (H.O.D.), Dr. Rekha Goel and Convenor Ms. Kunika Arora, with dedicated coordination from the workshop co- convenors Dr. Sakshi Goyal and Ms. Leena Gauri. Their efforts and commitment were instrumental in the success of this workshop.
Inaugural Session
The workshop began with an inaugural session, where our respected Principal ma’am and H.O.D. addressed the gathering, emphasizing the significance of Digital skills in today’s competitive job market.
Our Principal ma’am Dr. Manju Dua encouraged students to take full advantage of the expertise offered by Arena Animation, while Dr. Rekha Goel shared insights on the potential career opportunities in the digital field. Saumya and Pranjal (students of BBA first year) were the host for the event. They welcomed the resource persons and introduced the agenda, setting an enthusiastic tone for the event.
Day 1: Fundamentals of Digital Content Creation
The first day of the workshop focused on the basics of digital content creation. Trainers from Arena Animation introduced students to essential software like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and Firefly, providing demonstrations on graphic design, video editing, and basic animation techniques. With hands-on exercises following each session, students were able to apply what they learned, creating simple digital designs and video edits. The first day’s sessions gave students a strong foundation in using these industry-standard tools.
Day 2: Advanced Techniques and Project Work
On the second day, students explored advanced topics, such as 3D animation, visual effects (VFX), and content creation strategies for social media. The Arena Animation trainers led detailed sessions on 3D Modelling and VFX, showcasing the latest techniques used in fields like, advertising, and filmmaking. Working on small group projects, students were able to apply their skills collaboratively, creating digital content pieces that were presented at the end of the day. Trainers provided personalized feedback, helping students refine their work and further develop their skills
Concluding Session and Feedback
In the Concluding session, students shared their experiences, expressing their gratitude for the opportunity to learn practical, Hands-on Skills from Industry Experts. Many shared that the workshop had sparked their interest in exploring careers in digital media, noting how the Real-world applications helped them grasp complex concepts more effectively.
This two-day workshop on Digital Content Creation provided students with valuable skills, inspiring many to consider careers in Digital media.
Thanks to the collaboration with Arena Animation and the efforts of our College’s Leadership and Convenors, this event was a significant step toward bridging the gap between academic learning and industry practices in the field of Digital Content Creation.

Introduction: The Event was started with Lamp Lightening by Shri. Anand Mehta, President (MDES), Members of Management and Respected Principal Dr.Manju Dua. “Mood Indigo 2024” under the “Earn while you learn” Scheme provided students with a platform to develop their entrepreneurial skills by selling a variety of Diwali-related products, such as jewellery, torans, diyas, decorative items. Many students exhibited their culinary skills and got profit by selling it. The event featured several creative activities, including Food Stalls, Nail Art, Mehndi, Make-up, Diya Decoration, Games. These activities allowed students to display their artistic talents and craftsmanship.
Students from various backgrounds participated enthusiastically and exhibited their creativity. Respected Principal Dr. Manju Dua provided valuable guidance and support throughout the event. Her encouragement has always been a source of motivation for students, inspiring them to work hard and pursue their dreams. Dr. Neha Jain (Head – Department of Computer Science) played a crucial role in managing the event. Her constant motivation encouraged students to step forward and showcase their hidden skills. As the Head of the Department, her leadership was instrumental in the event’s success. The entire staff of the Department of Computer Science collaborated wholeheartedly to ensure the event’s success. Their dedication and teamwork were commendable.
The facilities from other Departments were full of praise for the efforts made by students. They were merry. The students other than Computer Science Department saw the event and appreciated it. Outcome: The students got a fair idea to manage budget for stalls and products. The purpose was to make them understand the importance of financial freedom.

Purpose: The Event aimed to provide a platform to the students to present their business ideas and to enhance their entrepreneurship skills. Our honorable Principal ma’am Dr. Manju Dua motivated the students for developing essential skills for being job-creators. She emphasized on role of will-power to become successful entrepreneurs. Our worthy H.O.D ma’am Dr. Rekha Goel appreciated the participants for their initiatives and motivated them to become successful entrepreneurs. Total 19 teams participated in this event. There was great zeal and enthusiasm among the students to pitch their ideas. They depicted numerous business proposals and their feasibility. The Department of Science organized an intra-college Model making competition on 7th October 2024. A total of 13 working models were received which included 6 from chemistry, 5 from physics and 2 from mathematics. Students from all semesters of B.Sc Life sciences, B.Sc Physical sciences and B.Sc Biotechnology participated enthusiastically in the competition. A number of innovative ideas were presented by the participants through their working models and were also explained well by them. Dr. Meenu Dua Mam (Head, Department of Science) congratulated all the position holders and also appreciated their efforts and ideas. The participants who could not grab a position were encouraged to do better in the upcoming activities. All the participants and winners were provided with certificates. The protection and conservation of wildlife is a collective responsibility that require immediate attention and action. It is essential to raise awareness about the importance of preserving wildlife and their habitat, not just for their survival but also for our own well-being. Keeping this in mind, Science Department celebrated wildlife week from 2nd October to 8th October, 2024.The objective to celebrate wildlife week was to sensitize students about wildlife conservation, to promote community involvement in protecting natural resources and also to inspire individuals to take environmental responsibility. .During wildlife week, We hosted various online inter College competitions, including:

Moving towards the end of the celebration of “Wildlife Week ” a rally was organised. About 180 students from different streams participated in the rally and showed their concern for the wildlife protection. The rally was flagged by our Chairman, Sh. Anand Mehta Sir. Our Principal ma’am Dr.Manju Dua also joined the rally and motivated the students to always take a step further to protect our mother Earth. Report on Vermicomposting Activity Organized by Phytozootech Club

The Phytozootech Club of K. L. Mehta Dayanand College for Women, Faridabad, successfully organized a vermicomposting activity on 19th September 2024 within the college premises. The event aimed to raise awareness about the benefits of vermicomposting and its potential future applications.
In preparation for the event, the students actively participated in collecting earthworms from different areas around the college campus prior to the main activity. They also gathered soil, organic matter, cardboard, and other essential materials in tubs, which were later transferred to the main composting pit on the day of the activity.
The event was graced by the presence of the college Principal, Dr. Manju Dua, who encouraged and motivated the students to engage in environmental sustainability practices.
The activity was conducted under the able guidance of Dr. Meenu Dua (Head, Department of Science) and Dr. Shveta Arya, who provided continuous support and motivation throughout the process. Dr. Meenu Dua addressed the students, emphasizing how vermicomposting practices can be further developed for better results in the future.
The Phytozootech Club’s President, Geetanjali Shukla (B.Sc. 3rd year), and Vice President, Divya Bansal (B.Sc. Biotech 3rd year), along with 50 other club members, actively participated, showcasing strong teamwork and dedication. Kala sangam club of Home science department organized a skill enhancement workshop by fevicry hobby ideas. The workshop focused on teaching students how to make folders and envelopes and how to decorate them using various textures, tints and shades .Ms. Archna Dua (HOD), Home Science warmly welcomed the resource person Ms. Reena Malik (instructor from fevicryl).The event was attended by other faculty members of the Home science department such as Dr. Sangeeta Kulshrestha, Ms. Benu mehta, Ms. Priyanka, Ms. Jyoti and Ms. Sujata, who showed their support and encouragement to the participating students. Around 28 students participated in the workshop. Ms. Reena Malik provided a comprehensive demonstration on crafting the folders and envelopes, guiding the students through each step with precision. Diverse Startup Ideas: Participants presented innovative concepts including a cafeteria, print-on-demand T-shirts, a perfume shop, and mehndi artistry. REPORT India staked new claim as a national superpower in space and scripted history by landing it’s Chandrayan 3 mission safely on the moon’s unexplored south pole on August 23 evening. After witnessing the historic success, the students of our college were sparked with the feeling of patriotism. Department of Computer Science organised the “WORLD ENTREPRENEURSHIP DAY” under the aegis of AICTE & Zerone Digital Club on 21st August 2024. It’s a day to recognise and celebrate entrepreneurs, innovators and small business owners who create jobs, drive innovation and contribute to economic growth. The resource persons for the day were Ms. Nikki of BCA Final year and Ms. Diya of BCA Second year who aims to inspire every student to turn their ideas into reality. They told students about their journey of their start-ups and motivate students to showcase their talent. Our Respected Principal, Dr. Manju Dua gave encouraging words to students , shared her success story and provides resources and support for all the entrepreneurs.
Dr. Neha Jain (Head – DOCS) also inspired many students by sharing her personal experience to embrace entrepreneurship, fostering innovation, job creation and economic growth. On 15th August 2024, the Youth Red Cross Society of K.L. Mehta Dayanand College for Women celebrated Independence Day with great fervor on the college campus. Around 32 students from various streams participated in the workshop, enthusiastically engaging in the hands-on experience of painting dupattas, t-shirts, and other items in the tricolour of the Indian flag. This initiative not only provided the participants with an opportunity to express their artistic skills but also instilled a sense of patriotism as they prepared for the upcoming national day celebration. The workshop was well-received, with students experimenting with various designs and techniques under Ms. Malik’s guidance, making it a memorable and creatively enriching experience for all involved. The Department of Home Science celebrated Teej Utsav with great enthusiasm and joy on 6th August 2024.The program commenced with the traditional lamp lighting ceremony. Ms.Kavita and Ms. Anjana accompanied by the students, graced the auspicious moment with the recital of Saraswati Vandana, invoking the blessings of the Goddess of Knowledge. Principal ma’am Dr. Manju Dua warmly welcomed the Chief Guest, Shubh Mehta Ma’am (Director Self-Finance) with a sapling .Ms. Archna Dua (HOD), Home science welcomed the Principal ma’am with a sapling.
First and foremost, Ms.Archna Dua explained the significance of Teej Utsav to the students. She highlighted its importance in Indian culture and emphasizing the celebration of monsoon.Her insightful words helped everyone understand and appreciate the cultural heritage behind the festivities.
Two intra college competitions were also held during the event. One was bangle decoration competition and another one was Indian sweets recipes competition. These competitions added an extra layer of excitement to the event.
Participants showcased their creativity by decorating bangles with various materials, creating unique and beautiful designs and also demonstrated their culinary skills by preparing delicious traditional sweets highlighting the rich culinary heritage associated with Teej Utsav.
The judges for bangle decoration competition were Dr. Madhurima Dubey and Dr. Babita Singh whereas the judges for Indian sweets recipe competition were Dr. Neha Jain, Dr. Shveta Arya and Ms. Benu Mehta.
The main attraction of the event was the beautifully decorated swings cum selfie point symbolizing the arrival of the monsoon season. Alongside, a mehndi corner was set up where skilled students adorned hands with intricate henna designs, adding to the traditional charm of the celebration.Additionally, a fashion show was organised by the Fashion designing students under the guidance of Ms. Priyanka Adhana and Saundarya beauty training students under the guidance of Ms. Bhawna Sharma, featured exquisite traditional outfits, blending modern styles with cultural aesthetics.The Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) students presented an impressive display, highlighting creative and educational activities for young children under the guidance of Ms. Pooja Gaba. This exhibition was both informative and also entertaining .The food court in the canteen area was a popular spot, allowing students & faculty to enjoy a range of culinary delights while socializing and soaking in the festive atmosphere.

In addition to that two dedicated administrative staff members Ms. Heena and Mr. Rahul were honoured as the Best Performers of the session 2023-24.The stage anchoring for the event was skillfully done by Ms. Priyanka Pawar. She expressed gratitude to all the participants, organizers,faculty members and students for their contributions and support, making the event a grand success. K. L Mehta Dayanand College for Women Faridabad organised world breastfeeding week on 3 August 2024. The program was inaugurated by our respected Principal ma’am (Dr.Manju Dua).The program included intra-college slogan writing competition on the theme closing the gap, Breastfeeding support for all. Student from different departments took part with great enthusiasm. In total 34 students participated in competition. After this competition Ms. Archna Dua (H.O.D, Home Science) discussed about the goal that is by 2025 increase in atleast 50%in the rate of exclusive breastfeeding in the first 6 months.Then she discussed the benefits of breastfeeding that it is the best start, perfect nutrition &protects from various life threatening diseases .Therefore mothers should be supported so that they can breastfeed exclusively for first 6 months of lactation,Health system should be strengthened ,paid leave should be supported,so that target of exclusive breastfeeding can be achieved by working and non-working mothers.Dr. Manju Dua also gave her views and supported the concept of exclusive breastfeeding. Ms. Benu gave very informative lecture on the theme. She highlighted a few facts about how a working woman can feed their baby together with the work which gave meaningful insights to the students. The program was anchored by Ms. Priyanka Pawar. Afterwords the result of slogan writing competition was announced .Ms. Sujata & Ms. Jyoti also contributed in making the event successful. The program was concluded with the vote of thanks by Dr. Sangeeta kulshrestha.
“The Department of Computer Science, under the guidance of the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), successfully organized a 10-day workshop on the Basics of Computer Skills from June 21st to June 30th, 2024. The workshop focused on equipping everyone with a comprehensive understanding of MS-Office and its applications. Principal Dr. Manju Dua graciously led the workshop, while Ms. Sandhya Chaudhary and Ms. Leena Bhatia, the conveners, provided expert guidance on the fundamentals of MS-Office. The Resource Persons effectively conveyed the concepts, and the faculty’s efforts were duly appreciated. All participating students received participation certificates, acknowledging their engagement and learning. The workshop aimed to empower students with the essential skills to navigate MS-Office confidently.” The faculty members were given their certificates on completion of the 10 Day Workshop by the Principal Dr. Manju Dua. The farewell soiree was replete with cherished with fun and enthralling dance routines by second-year and final year students. A myriad of stalls adorned the grounds, offering delectable cuisines, traditional craftsmanship, exhilarating games, ECCE display and intricately woven fabric displays etc. Students showcased their creativity and entrepreneurial spirit through an array of such captivating stalls.From tantalizing food stalls to intricate mehndi and nail art, fabric displays and engaging games, the diverse offering promised something special for every visitor.The air was filled with aroma of delicious cuisines at food stalls, where students showcased their culinary talents. Likewise, Natural Holi colours stall, resin art stall,herbal tea stall, fabric stall, nail art stall, mehndi stall and jewellery stalls displayed an impressive array of craftsmanship and creativity of students providing a feast for the eyes.Adding to the excitement were games stalls, offering a variety of interactive challenges and friendly competition for all the attendees. Cultural performances, including music,dance, yoga and taekwondo show etc. captivated audience and left a long lasting impression. The success of the combined celebration owes much to the dedicated leadership and unwavering support of our esteemed Principal Dr. Manju Dua.This memorable day served as a testament to the college’s vibrant culture and unwavering commitment to excellence in all endeavours. held from 14th to 18th March, 2024 REPORT Essentials of Research paper writingThe Department of Chemistry under the aegis of IQAC organised a 5 day workshop on ‘Essentials of Research paper writing’ from 14th to 18th March 2024. The workshop aimed at explaining the very basics of writing a research paper to the students, especially the PG students so that whenever they start writing a research paper, they have a fair knowledge about how to start with it. Day 1- Dr. Annu Kalra from PG Chemistry discussed the various organs of a research paper and how is every part of it written. Day 2- Ms. Kamiya Chugh from the Computer science department described an important part of a research paper and that is awareness of plagiarism and how it can be checked. Day 3- Ms. Rajni from PG Chemistry explained the effective strategies adopted for searching research papers online and various tools related. Also Ms. Sonia Bisht from PG Chemistry made the students aware about reference management. Day 4- Dr. Purnima Verma from PG Chemistry nicely told the students about beyond production, journal information and important shortcuts used in MS Excel. Also Ms. Pooja Khatana from M.Sc Chemistry explained the basics of MS Word and various tricks used in it. Day 5- The last day of the workshop started with words of encouragement from the principal mam, Dr. Manju Dua, Dr. Meenu Dua(Head, Department of Chemistry) and Dr. Beena Sethi (Department of Chemistry). They appreciated the efforts of the faculty involved and the whole concept of teaching the students how to write a research paper effectively. To make the valedictory session more productive, two alumni from M.Sc Chemistry, Ms. Shashi Mishra and Ms. Neetu Tanwar were also invited. They showed the participants their published research papers and shared their experiences with them. All the resource persons and the alumni were presented with a letter of appreciation for their efforts and dedication towards a successful organisation of the workshop. Around 120 registered participants were a part of this truly informative workshop. The participants also shared their valuable feedback on the last day of the workshop.
REPORT The Department of Computer Science successfully celebrated ” Digital Learning Day ” on 5 March 2024, by conducting a Photography competition. The competition topic was “My College-My Pride”. Approximately 90 students participated in the event. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students across various academic streams. Judges for the competition were Dr. Mithlesh, Head- Department of Arts and Dr. Beena Sethi from Department of Science & Head of Research & Devlopment Cell. Dr. Neha Jain, the Head of the Computer Science Department, lauded the participants and encouraged them to partake in more such platforms to exhibit their diverse talents. Ms. Rittul of BCA 2nd year stood First, Ms. Divya of BCA 1st year stood 2nd, Ms. Deepa of BCA 2nd year stood 3rd. The meticulous execution of the event was overseen by the Ms. Gurpreet Kaur(Convener) and Ms. Ayeesha, (Co-convener). The event was seamlessly managed. Outcome – Students who partook in the competition found new angles through which they saw the College.

Highlights: The day commenced with a ceremonial lamp lighting by esteemed dignitaries, followed by a soulful rendition of Saraswati Vandana, symbolizing the quest for knowledge and wisdom.The event was hosted by Shikha of BCA First Year and Lavanya of BCA First Year. Competitions: Bollywood Quiz: Led and judged by Ms. Neetu. Students with a passion for Indian cinema to test their knowledge of Bollywood trivia. Old Songs Jibe: Led by Ms. Rupinder ma’am and judged by Dr. Neha Jain. Students from departments enthusiastically participated in the event. Their passion for music was evident as they prepared to perform renditions of beloved old songs. News Talk: Led by Ms. Gurpreet and judged by Dr. Annu Kalra. Students had to speak like news reporters on random topics. Collage Making: Led by Ms. Ayeesha and judged by Dr. Beena Sethi and Dr. Mithlesh. Students made collages in physical form. Movie Making: Led by Ms. Vishakha Garg and judged by Dr. Meenu Dua. Participants showcased their video content creation skills, emphasizing the growing importance of visual communication in the digital era. DOTCOM 2024 epitomized the spirit of innovation and collaboration, thanks to the meticulous organization by Conveners Ms. Kamiya Chugh and Ms. Kritika Vaid. The event not only showcased remarkable achievements but also fostered a culture of innovation and excellence among students. REPORT On the occasion of National Science Day, Department of Science of K. L. Mehta Dayanand College for Women, Faridabad, orchestrated an engaging Intra College Quiz Competition alongside an array of thought-provoking contests including Scientific Rangoli, Article Writing, and Caption Writing on February 16th, 2024. The event, under the esteemed guidance of honorable Principal Dr. Manju Dua and respected Dr. Meenu Dua(Head, Department of Science) witnessed enthusiastic participation from students of different academic backgrounds. Notable winners included Mitali, Komal, Jyoti who secured first position and Nikita, Chunoti, Anchal secured second position and Khushboo, Muskan, Mannu secured third position in Science Quiz Competition. Divya & Hritika got first position, Muskan & Khushi got second position, Muskan & Anita secured third position in scientific rangoli competition. Niharika ,Nitika and Dhanisha got first, second and third position in article writing competition. Chunoti, Devismita and Prachi bagged first, second and third position in caption writing competition. The Quiz Competition was masterfully conducted by Ms. Renu Pandey and Ms. Anita, who engaged participants with a series of challenging questions spanning various scientific disciplines. The Competitions were conducted with finesse, thanks to the judges who diligently evaluated the entries in each category, ensuring fairness and impartiality. REPORT On 29th and 30th Jan 2024 students from B.Sc.(medical) ,(Non-Medical) & Bio-tech. participated in inter district level science exhibition at Govt. College for Women, Sec-16 A, Faridabad. The aim of the exhibition was to provide a platform to students where they implement various scientific principles and applications for social, human and environmental development through their models. Students presented their models with great enthusiasm and knowledge in front of Chief Guest professor Ranjana Aggarwal from CSIR. The exhibition also helped to build the ability for teamwork and cooperation among students. Following prices were won by our students: 1. Chemistry model (Chanchal & Lisha) bagged 1st position and cash prize of 1000 Rs. 2. Zoology model (Kritika Parashar and Priyanshi jain) got 2nd position and cash prize of Rs.800. 3. Botany model (Geetanjali and Chavi vashisht) bagged 2nd position and cash prize of 800 Rs. (CS) and BCA students of second year and final year. The resource person Mr. Anurag Bhatia, Founder and Head Trainer at Vidhya Sarthi Institute of Digital Marketing made the students aware about the importance of “Artificial Intelligence in Digital Marketing” for promoting various Business organisations. Resource person Mrs. Meeta Rampal demonstrated fabric painting, Divine flag painting etc. to the students. Approximately 38 students from various streams participated and prepared their articles using Hindu sacrad icon “ॐ” and “जय श्रीराम” expressing devotion to deity RAMA under her supervision. The expertise and leadership of Ms. Archna Dua (H.O.D) Home science have greatly enriched the whole event. A heartfelt acknowledgement to Dr. Sangeeta kulshreshtha for her exceptional and invaluable guidance. The Research and development cell of KL Mehta Dayanand college for women Faridabad organised a one day seminar on the topic, ‘How to decide a project problem’. The resource person for the seminar was Dr Pradeep K. Varshney, Dean of Research and Science at Manav Rachna University, Faridabad. The seminar was held exclusively for the students of all PG programs running in the college. The session started with a lamp lightening ceremony and Gayatri mantra recitation followed by a highly influential lecture by Dr Pradeep Varshney Sir who talked about the very basics of deciding a project problem’ and what all points should be kept in mind while going for a project or research as the main parameter that decides the rest of the parameters of the project is what and how the problem should be worked upon. The session was interesting and interactive throughout as Sir kept asking questions and solving students’ queries in between the session only. The lecture was quite informative and provided encouragement to all the students present. Everyone enjoyed and appreciated the seminar. The teacher in charge of R and D Cell, Dr. Beena Sethi Mam also appreciated the efforts of Dr. Pradeep K. Varshney Sir for his valuable session. She also presented a sapling to Sir as a token of appreciation. This was followed by a formal vote of thanks to him. Around 100 students attended the seminar.
Kala Sangam Club of Department of Home Science and Saundarya Beauty Training Centre organized a workshop on Makeup by Lakme Academy powered by Aptech on 27/04/23. The workshop was based on makeup skills.The makeup artist from the Lakme Academy gave a complete demonstration on Party Makeup . Nearly 50 students participated in the workshop with great enthusiasm and students also asked questions during the makeup demonstration. Our honourable Principal, Dr.Manju Dua encouraged the students to be the part of skill development courses so that they become self reliant. Ms. Archna Dua ,Head of the Department also motivated students to participate in such workshops and get the most benefit out of such workshops . Under the guidance of honourable Principal Dr.Manju Dua and respected Dr. Neha Jain Head of Department of Computer Science, organized a 4-Day Workshop on ‘Creative Industry ‘ by Maya Academy of Advanced Cinematics (MAAC) from 11th April to 15th April. The objective behind scheduling the workshop is to introduce different fields like video editing, graphic designing and animations to the students.
This Workshop was organised by Ms.Poonam(convener), Ms.Tanshi (Industry update) and Mr.Ankit (Technical Head). The workshop was a very good combination of technical and practical knowledge .50 students was participating and they were encouraged by providing certificates and prizes at the end of the workshop.The students prepared the departmental magazine cover after learning designing and animations. Under the guidance of Ms.Poonam (DoCS) Drishti Ahuja,Megha sharma, Ronak gupta,Anshul,Ritu,Fatma, Ridhima,Rachna and Nishi (BCA 1st & 2nd year Students)Organised the whole event.
Department of biosciences has organised one day workshop on IPR on 10th April 2023. The resource person of the event was Mr Rahul Bagga Director of Aumirah & affiliates . The workshop focused on various components and policies of IPR such as patents,trademark ,Industrial design copyright,trade secret which motivated the students to file there innovative ideas and gain the maximum benefit from their creativity and ingenuity. The workshop was attended by approximately 150 students. Our esteemed Principle Dr. Manju Dua appreciated the students for attending the workshop and congratulated Dr. Sheel Singh,Head of department and Dr. Shveta Arya for organising such an informative workshop.
Department of Home Science organised Fevicryl Crafts exhibition-cum-competition on 21 Feb,2023. Display of various crafts articles learnt during the 3 day Fevicryl workshop (6feb,2023 to 8 Feb 2023) was held in the Clothing and Textiles laboratory of the department. Exhibition-cum-competition of bottle decoration, Stole Painting and Lippan Art were held. Students of various streams participated enthusiastically in the competitions. Ms. Meeta Rampal and Ms. Rachna Baghel were the judges of the competitions. Ms.Rachna Baghel is alumini of our college who is graduated in 2017 and currently working as Faculty in fine arts ,at shiv college for Education, Tigaon.Dr.Manju Dua (officiating principal) applauded the overwhelming response of the students and stressed upon the importance of learning new skills and crafts. Ms. Archna Dua, Head of the Department, Home Science told about the importance of having entrepreneurial skills in the students for making them self reliant. Prizes were given to the winners and certificate of participation were distributed to all the students who successfully completed the 3 day workshop.Mrs. Usha Pant and the other faculty members participated enthusiastically in the program.
DAY-1 Department Of Home Science organized Faculty Development Program ( FDP) for 7 days (16th Dec to 23rd Dec 2023) for Faculty members of K.L.Mehta Dayanand College For Women , Faridabad. This program was conducted in collaboration with Fevicryl Hobby Ideas. Ms.Meeta Rampal, Freelance Artist and Specialist in Pidilite Industries was the resource person of the program. On 16th December, the first day of the program, Dr.Sangeeta Kulshrestha welcomed the resource person, Principal Ma’am and faculty members. Ms.Meeta Rampal displayed her creativity and her pretty work namely Lippan Art , various paintings like glass , acrylic, mix media, canvas , fabric etc. She even showed hand made Jewelleries , mirror work decorated jute bags , Mandala art, bottle painting , 3D decorated plates using 3D Liners , decopatch work .She demonstrated various dry brush strokes to make leaves , different types of petals and stem etc. She also told us about liquid embroidery skills on fabric in form of various stitches like kantha,Phulkari , Chain stitch, cross stitch etc. Nearly 60 faculty members actively participated on Day 01. We are thankful to Principal Ma’am Dr.Manju Dua for her guidance and support for organising such events. Ms.Archna Dua ( Head of Home Science Department) for her immense support throughout. On the second day (18/12/23) Mrs. Meeta Rampal guided the faculty with hands-on creativity on various techniques of using mould it for pot decoration, tray decoration and many more. Around 40 faculty members of the college actively participated in the creating their own art pieces. Principal Dr. Manju Dua mam appreciated the practical approach of the Home science department, finding it beneficial for incorporating creativity in the day to day life of the teachers. Mehta Dayanand College, Faridabad enthusiastically participated and created their own art pieces as well as learnt about Tie and Dye , Decopatch, Jewellery making using Fevicryl moulds, under the guidance and supervision of the instructor Mrs. Meeta Rampal . Principal mam appreciated the efforts of one and all. DAY-5 On the fifth day of FDP on 21/12/2023 organised by department of homescience ,the faculty members of K.L. Mehta Dayanand College, Faridabad enthusiastically participated and created their own art pieces using techniques like Decoupage on Glass Bottles , Duppatta, phone covers ,decorative pots and also made various types of canvas paintings under the guidance and supervision of an artist Mrs. Meeta Rampal . Principal mam appreciated the efforts of one and all. DAY-6 On the sixth day of the faculty development program i.e., 22/12/23 organised by the department of Home science, the faculty members of K.L. Mehta Dayanand College, Faridabad showcased their artistic talents under the guidance of Mrs. Meeta Rampal using 3-D outliners to create raised designs, Canvas painting for home decor, Decoupage to give personalized touch to ethnic wears such as dupatta, shirts etc.Today Mrs. Shubh Mehta (Director self finance) graced the occasion, her arrival seemed to cast a warm glow over the entire venue.The principal Dr. Manju Dua appreciated all the faculty members for their outstanding creative work. DAY-7 On the 7th day of FDP on 23/12/23, organized by department of Home Science, the faculty members of K.L.Mehta Dayanand College for Women , faridabad completed their articles using several techniques such as decoupage , canvas , 3D outliners, mouldit , bottle painting and many more. As the festive season of Diwali has approached, the Department of Computer Science at K.L. Mehta Dayanand College for Women organized the ” Mood Indigo 2023” under the “Earn While You Learn” scheme. This initiative aimed to blend celebration, enjoyment, skill development, and entrepreneurship to celebrate “National Entrepreneurship Day” which is on 9th November. Mood Indigo 2023 provided students with a platform to develop their entrepreneurial skills by selling a variety of Diwali-related products, such as jewellery, torans, diyas, and decorative items. Many students exhibited their culinary skills and got profit by selling it. The event featured several creative activities, including Food Stalls, nail art, diya decoration, and rangoli. These activities allowed students to display their artistic talents and craftsmanship. A notable feature of Mood Indigo 2023 was the highly successful competition held for diya decoration and rangoli. Students from various backgrounds participated enthusiastically and exhibited their creativity. Respected Principal Dr. Manju Dua provided valuable guidance and support throughout the event. Her encouragement has always been a source of motivation for students, inspiring them to work hard and pursue their dreams. Dr. Neha Jain (Head – Department of Computer Science) played a crucial role in managing the event. Her constant motivation encouraged students to step forward and showcase their hidden skills. An extension lecture on the topic ” Tally with G.S.T” was organised by the Department of Commerce and Management on 21st October 2023 at 10:30 Am. The Resource Person for the session was Mr.Kishen Manocha Account Consultant Working with 9 Pvt Ltd Co., 1 public ltd company, 8 proprietorship, 1partnership The lecture dealt with the concept of project based learning and it’s benefits to the students. Principal ma’am Dr. Manju Dua also explained students about thinking new ideas and upskill themselves for better employability. The session was very interesting as the speaker interacted with the students . The students were enthusiastic to participate. Around 150 students attended the Session.

Medical 2nd year grabbed the first prize, ‘Plants in Space’ of B.Sc Biotech 2nd year got the Second prize and ‘Transport of Nitrogen’ of B.Sc. Medical 3rd year got Third prize. 2) Zoology Model: ‘3D organ Bioprinter’ of B.Sc Medical 3rd year got the First prize, ‘Atherosclerosis’ of B.Sc Biotech 1st year got the Second prize and ‘Circulatory system ‘ of B.Sc Medical 1st year got the third prize. 3) Chemistry Model: ‘Quantum Dots’ of B.Sc Medical 2nd year got the First prize, ‘Nano Filming by RF sputtering’ by B.Sc. Department of Commerce and Management in collaboration with Guidance and Counselling Cell organised 2- days ‘Financial Education Programme ‘ for Commerce students on 11-12 September 2023. Ms. Jyoti Kapoor (SEBI Trainer) was the Resource Person of the program. She covered 8 Modules related to personal financial framework, security markets, investment opportunity in security markets, employment opportunity in security markets and self-employment opportunity in security markets. At the end Quiz Competition was held. It was very interactive and knowledgeable session. Approx. 110 students from B. Com (Pass & Voc.) attended the session. Principal Dr. Manju Dua motivated the students to enthusiastically participate in this program. 15 Days “Microsoft Advanced Excel” Workshop The workshop was organized by the Department of Commerce and Management. The resource person of the workshop was Ms. Leena Bhatia, Assistant Professor (Computer Application). 33 students registered for the workshop and 31 attended and successfully completed the training. Duration of each session was 1 hour Practical. The workshop started on 1st September 2023. Principal, Dr. Manju Dua ma’am inaugurated the workshop and blessed the students with encouraging words. The objective of the workshop was to provide knowledge of Microsoft Advanced Excel with practical sessions. The focus was to enhance technical skills of the participants. The workshop concluded on 16th September 2023. The assessment test of 50 marks was conducted on 18th September 2023. 31 students completed the test. The test had multiple-choice, problem oriented, and theoretical questions. The test also included practical execution of programs. On 19th September 2023 “Certificate of Completion was distributed to all the candidates for successfully completing workshop. 3 students scored above 45 in the assessment test and were bestowed with Excellence Award by principal, Dr. Manju Dua ma’am.
The Department of Computer Science successfully organized an “Interdepartmental Elocution Competition” in commemoration of Independence Day. The competition’s theme was “What does Freedom means for me?” where participants could express in either Hindi or English language. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students across various academic streams. Ambika, a first-year student of B.Com (Hons.), clinched the First rank. Second and Third positions were secured by Himanshi, a final-year B.Com (Hons.) student, and Vishakha of BCA final-year. Acknowledging their efforts, Rinki, a final-year B.Com (Hons.) student, and Lavanaya, a first-year BCA student, were awarded consolation prizes. Esteemed Judges for the competition included Dr. Veenapani Singh, Dr. Madhurima Dubey, and Dr. Madhu Rathi. Dr. Neha Jain, the Head of the Computer Science Department, lauded the participants and encouraged them to partake in more such platforms to exhibit their diverse talents. The meticulous execution of the event was overseen by the Zerone Club, with Ms. Tannu serving as President, Ms. Rachna as Joint President, and Ms. Ridhima as Vice President. Under the guidance of Ms. Kamiya Chugh (Convener) and Ms. Vishakha Garg, (Co-convener) of the event, the event was seamlessly managed.
Dept of computer science and “Zerone Digital club” organised ” Seminar on Python” with “Froyo Technologies” on 9th June, 2022. Students of BCA M.Sc(CS) and M.Sc(Maths) attended this event . Mr. Rajinder Kumar(Data Scientist) and Mr Manish Kumar(General Manager) took this session. Students learnt about Python language and also cleared their doubts by asking questions from the mentors. Principal Dr. Manju Dua Ma’am and Dr. Neha Jain, HoD of Computer Science Department appreciated the whole program and motivated students to surely attended such kinds of sessions which enhance their skills . Ms. Shivani Gupta (Convener) and Ms.Kritika vaid (Co-Convener) organised the whole Event.approx 150 students were attended the Seminar.
6th May 2022 was the DAY 3 of the Workshop. It was conducted for B.Com.(Pass) stream students in separate sessions by Ms. Shivani Gupta, Ms. Ekta Soni and Ms. Kritika Vaid ,Assistant Professors, Department of Computer Science. Approximately,120 students of B.Com(Pass) stream has attended the Workshop. Through this Workshop, students learnt about how to prepare a professional resume that reflects their skills, knowledge and education that are relevant to the job they are seeking. Dr. Manju Dua, Officiating Principal also shared their knowledge and experience with the students.The workshop continued for 3hrs in Smart Lab of Department of Computer Science. After the Workshop, the students were able to draft their own Covering Letter and make a Professional Resume.
Department of Computer Science under aegis of Zerone- Digital Club celebrates ‘National Security Day’ and ‘World Literacy Day’ on 1st and 2nd December respectively. Students of various Departments learn to make a brochure. The highlight of this workshop was that it was taught by the students of final year of BCA program. Dr. Manju Dua, Principal appreciated the concept and motivated the students to teach these skills to their classmates. Dr. Neha Jain (Hod, Dept. of Computer Science) told the students to get expertise in this by working on it. Ms. Neetu and Ms. Kritika Vaid (Conveners) organised the whole event and answered all the queries at the end of workshop. Students were excited to put their knowledge in action now
The Department of Mathematics organized an Expert Talk on topic “Applicative Aspects of Reliability Theory” by Dr. Reena Garg ( Assistant Professor) J.C.Bose University,YMCA faridabad under the guidance of respected Principal Dr.Manju Dua and HOD Dr.Meenu Dua. Around 70 students from M.Sc(Maths) and B.Sc (Non medical) students were present there and interacted with resource person.The talk was on reliability, maintanability and availability which were wonderfully explained by Dr. Reena Garg. She effortlessly explained how system is reliable.Mam told to students how we can calculate warranty of any appliances by using Mathematical Modelling.The session was completed by questions answer session. Our head Dr. Sheel Singh appreciated team work of our department and were present during the whole talk. The session ended by giving Vote of thanks. All staff present during whole talk.
Women Cell celebrated “Women in Business” on 22nd Sept 2022 and organized expert talk by Ms. Pallavi Sharma, co- founder of Cafe Bogchi Sec 15 and CEO at Fuel Save Systems and Devices Pvt. Ltd. The event was inaugurated by the Resource Person, Principal Dr. Manju Dua ma’am and Dr. Beena Sethi ma’am. Ms. Pallavi Sharma shared her journey as entrepreneur with the students of Women Cell. Principal Dr. Manju Dua ma’am advised students to believe in themselves and keep chasing their dreams. Under the guidance of Convener Ms. Madhu Saitya, Women Cell also gave platform to the member students to showcase their creations to the Resource Person. Ms. Pallavi Sharma appreciated and encouraged the participants. Co-Conveners Dr. Babita Singh and Ms. Shobha Chawla co-ordinated the whole event. Ms. Ganga Hariharan and Ms. Ishika Chauhan from B.Com(C. A) 3rd year hosted the event.
Orientation programme of Women Cell was organised on 16th September 2022. Principal ma’am , Dr. Manju Dua graced the event. Dr. Babita Singh and Ms. Shobha Chawla, Co-Conveners of Women Cell presented the momento to revered Principal ma’am. Convener of Women cell, Ms. Madhu Saitya, informed the students about the agenda of the Women Cell. They were asked to be active participants in the cell and be leader in the future. HR Head Mr.Visual Setia and Sales Manager Ms. Chanchal Aggarwal came for the selection process which includes written test followed by personal interviews. Students of BCA, B.Com( voc), & B.Com( CA) participated in these drive with great enthusiasm . Our worthy Principal mam and distuiguished guests CA Harsh Kumar Mittal (Chairman Faridabad Branch of NIRC of ICAI) and CA Rajinder Singh Dhillon( Secretary, FaridabadBranch of NIRC of ICAI) inaugrated the session by lightning the lamp. 58 CA firms arrived for hiring students of Commerce and Management. In this session, students learnt how to create their own Web page and URL to sell their skill based products or services.They also learnt about marketing the products or services. Research Committee has organised a one day workshop on ‘ Entrepreneurship For Undergraduates’ on 25-May-2022 under the guidance of Dr. Sheel Singh and Dr. Beena Sethi for Inculcating the awareness about start-up as well as for entrepreneurship. The Resource person Mr. Anurag Pandey, Entrepreneur shared his journey as entrepreneur and motivated the students to venture the small scale start-ups. Students were given tips and ideas on new start-ups and developing a business idea into reality. Dr. Manju Dua ( Officiating Principal) appreciated the initiative taken by research committee. The program was well co-ordinated by organising team members. The workshop concluded with a question-answer session on new business ideas.
